Wow! That is a very durable alarm! Talk about weatherproof!!

Wow! That thing survived six minutes and twelve seconds before it finally succumbed to the flames and melted apart! That’s crazy durability for a fire alarm of all things!

People just won't notice. The power got cut off at the very end, because ironically the wire got burnt but the sounder itself survived. If you take out the wire and power it again with new wires surely it would sound.

man, that is DURABLE.

The alarm sound will get small if the holes where the sound come out is covered, but it will not stop ringing unless the circuit inside or the buzzer is damaged, which is unlikely, But they will be damaged if the plastic shell that is holding the together is melted on the inside. Just explaining why did the sounder survive the fire for such a long time.

Wow! This sound is literally a mixture of all the alarms in my mom's school district building! The alarms are Mircom Select-A-Horn/strobes and Edwards 439D-6AW bells. Anyone else thought of this? Those two different units blend and sound like the alarm in this video. If you're curious, the pulls are Simplex 4251-20's.

Always install good alarms that will last a long time. Fire alarms are useless if there is a fire and they break imediately.

No. Not true at all. A smoke detector does just that, it detects smoke. The smoke detector tells the fire alarm panel that there is smoke, the fire alarm panel then operates the sounders. You could have heat detectors or even manual call points but no smoke detectors, so long as you have a fire alarm panel and sounders, the sounders will work. The first basic fire alarms had no panel, just call points and sounders. One of my videos shows how to wire a call point and sounder with no panel.

It seemed like the fire want the fire drill to shut up cus the fire drill was being the snitch.. who was telling that there is a fire! So the fire rip the fire drill apart..Lol

Now try this on an old metal mechanical horn and see how it withstands the fire.
