Use a drop saw with metal cutoff wheel. 37° for the male cut, 42° for the female. Trim off the blurred edge with snips and assemble. Perfect mitres every time 👌🏻

Nice, just 1 comment, why apply silicone only on the outside. Eventually with the downpours nowadays, nature will win pushing the silicone off outwards. With an avg. of 10mm to 80mm rain on 47m² for 100mm 1 side silicon downpipe ...

Surely someone makes a metal joiner for this purpose. Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?
