I sang this song to my mom back in 2018 as she took her last breaths. She smiled right as she left and it was at the part where ‘I love you’ lyrics were sang. Thank you for this song and making her smile one last time.

I have just discovered round music and have huge admiration for it. Im from Ireland and although the Indigenous American people's music is probably a much, much older tradition, round musics melodies appear to share something in common with the sean nòs singing style in gaelic laments which is quite interesting, except the drumming adds an extra raw power to it. wish I could have heard my aunt sing the songs of our tribe and beat her drum but she's long gone now. I have recordings of her voice but y'know it's never the same. She was amazing and it's amazing people still sing today.
