Round 4 Jeep WL Modifications (34" tires) - Hidden Winch

We added the hidden winch kit from Rocky Road Outfitters. The kit included a mounting plate for the winch. We modified the kit for a tighter fit. This modification removed most of the kit's spacers and widened the fair lead's opening. The winch is a Superwinch SX10SR 12V DC 10,000lb with synthetic rope, a Factor 55 shackle, and Hawse black fairlead. We wired a remote into the glove box with an extra long line to be used outside the vehicle. Additionally, we have a wireless remote. It's hard to see from the video; however, you can reach up on the right side of the opening to release the winch clutch.
Louie and Jeff, you guys rock. This build is all possible because of your love for Overlanding and ingenuity. Thank you!

Coming next is the prototype roof rack from Chief Products. We understand from Chief that the unit is done and will be shipped stateside in early January 2024.

Hopefully, they get the rock rails, front bumper, and rear sliders done soon.

Hello I am wondering if you can do a in-depth video on how everything was done I’ve been following along with you for a while just curious on the lift how you made that work for cutting the tab out along with trimming for the 34s what all had to be cleared and how you got the suspension reprogrammed

Looks like those tires are too big. Especially lowering the suspension, isn't it?
