Really close match, the Stags tackle count almost topped the number of Cantab tries.

Good to see Crotty getting a good run. ITM Cup is great for getting our ABs back up to speed. But Southland, come on. NZRU has gotta step in. They can't be this un-competitive for this long, surely?

Good exciting backline link players in NZ pushing for spots in the next couple of seasons. Josh McKay plays like Billy Slater and Will Jordan at Tasman is another one to watch. European scouts are probably alteady watching them!

A point for every minute

I was on the edge of my seat during this nail biter, only realised who the winner would be at the 80-0 mark. Still, I felt the Stags were robbed at the end there though.

Shows how much depth The All Blacks have. Canterbury can compete with most teams at the RWC.

Glad their jerseys didn't look the same. Otherwise it would have been difficult to tell one team from the other.

I hope McKay matures well and lives up to his potential

Well I was expecting a big win for Canterbury but allowing 80 points and being held scoreless is just horrendous. They haven’t won since 2016. I get Southland is a small club but they are smaller teams that can do well.
