Started watching your channel one week ago, Steve. Owned a 60 mk1 bugeye senior year of high school, 1971. Loved it, did all my own mechanical work, but have learned more this week watching you than I ever knew. Love watching you work on Sprites.

Hi Steve, it really puzzles me that anyone can give a "thumbs down" to your videos! You are clear and concise with your narrative, the content is always interesting not tedious or boring and your editing is faultless. I'm a fan of old British cars myself---being an old British guy (now living in Ireland ) so I'll just say thanks for sharing and good luck with your projects.

Like the way the YT annotation says (music) when you are driving and it’s just the exhaust

Outstanding little car there. I am so jealous right now. I love how simple cars used to be, no computer needed just some knowledge and willingness to get your hands dirty.

You look at all that rust and in no time have removed a petrol tank I would have assumed was immovable! Ditto many other parts. This is proper recycling!

I had an opportunity to buy one for $400 in February in Connecticut which is rainy and cold and absolutely miserable I loved bug eye sprites and wanted to buy it so bad but I was neither a mechanic nor wealthy so I had to get a beetle because I was a poor student still it brings back such fond memories smiles thank you very much Stewart

When I was a kid in the 60s, one of the jokes doing the rounds was: what's green and does 100mph? An Austin Healey Sprout.

Yes more Sprite videos like this. Did you finish the Sprite engine that you were rebuilding? How about the Possible video challenge with Kevin and Mook racing Sprits around you’re parking lot?

Simple, but brilliant mechanical tutorials. Your under the hood shots are always nicely lit up too. Good job all round and keep ‘em coming!
