Thank you for uploading this rare movie. I was able to watch this movie on different occasions and discovered that it had several endings. One ending which was shown in the theaters, David Niven's character is the foil and the other version, his character was in cahoots with Burt Reynolds character. RIP Burt Reynolds :(.

Burt Reynolds is so suave and effortless in his acting and no exception here being a clever diamond thief.Leslie Ann-Down,the woman is beautiful,charming and seductive.I would be hypnotized by those piercing blue eyes.Devious plot,excellent cast and exceptionally good acting.Thanks for screening.❤

I have been waiting decades for this movie to come out on dvd. Can't understand why it hasn't ? It has a really good fun plot and great actors. Thankfully I put my vhs copy onto a blank dvd so at least I have that as a long lasting option. I was hoping for a really better pic quality version.RIP Niven and Reynolds.

I usually find that if the critics don't like it chances are it's pretty good. It's the ones they do like that turn out to be crap.

Recently been picking classic actors and watching every movie i can find of thiers that i dont know first two i started with was Charles bronson and burt reynolds so i just finished Bronson's rider on the rain and now reynolds rough cut i just love classic movies been a movie geek my whole. Everyone has the thing in this world that gives them pure joy mine is movies i love them more and more no matter how many i watch and ive seen more then anyone i know by far im 45 years old and watch them everyday

Charming movie, reminiscent of Charade or Arabesque. Burt is effortlessly debonair and Lesley Ann is stunning, seductive and sweet all at the same time.

The late, super great Burt Reynolds was awesome in this 1980 Rough Cut movie!!

I wish he would have done more of these films.

G-BRRT the aircraft flying to Antwerp is tricked into diverting to Amsterdam. However with the flight plan filed for Antwerp it wouldn't automatically be given clearance to land at Amsterdam ; it would be classified as an irregular flight and questions would be asked before it would be allowed to land with the authorities waiting to question the pilots .Also Amsterdam would get in touch with Antwerp and make enquiries .So would the game be up ? Also the fake G-BRRT aircraft illegally lands somewhere ahead in a field and gets away without any problems . Haven't they heard of Radar ??

Very entertaining movie! Burt is at his best self here...he would have made an unbelievably great James Bond! So sad he turned down the part, we could have had a decade of movies like this with Burt. Such a bummer...

I didn't like this movie when it came out and I like it less now. The director Don Siegel lost faith in it about halfway through and it doesn't have his usual signature like in Invasion of the Body Snatchers or Escape from Alcatraz. The plot is simply not credible and leaves a lot of questions unanswered. If the diamonds had already been stolen then why go through that chase where they could have been caught or injured? Especially with her driving.

According to Burt, in his 1st book "My Life" (which is excellent by the way!) There were tons of problems between the producer, David Merick, who continuously messed with an already fantastic script, written by Larry Gelbart, along with firing numerous directors. He finally settled on Dom Siegel, (who was one of Clint Eastwood's mentors), but according to Burt, Dom seemed to have lost a step directing this picture. Burt said, He felt Dom had aged since he directed Dirty Harry. Not that that's bad, but a movie takes on the director's energy, and he could barely stay awake between shots". Then in Burt's classic self deprecating humor stated, "Maybe it was my acting". While I agree with you, there are certainly things that could have been done better in this picture, these issues have nothing to do with Burt or his performance. I feel it absolutely delivered in entertainment value and the casting was excellent. It's yet another underrated film of Burt's to be sure...he played his part perfectly!
