Alador never died and Adder never got injured! Zorro went for their manes which never would have even hurt them! A male lion's mane protects their neck from other lions and predators, it's a giant ball of fur! STOP TRIGGERING ME PEOPLE!!!

Lol XD yes ur right but a young males mane is thinner there for I think it makes a tiny bit of sense for his to be hurt besides it’s just made of stuff :/

Actually, it's based off of dominance, so if they're more dominant than they have a thicker, larger, and darker mane, sometimes males even loose their manes completely and females can actually grow manes, sometimes it's genetics and sometimes it's dominance, so Scar, Nuka, and Kovu would be the true kings in the lion king.
