Averaged 18.2 pts 10.6rbs 9.0ast 2.4stl shooting 51%, nearly a triple double in his first playoff series with great efficiency. Donovan Mitchell you are one of the best scorers in the league and will win scoring titles, but Ben will win MVPs and Titles.

I hate to say it, but the Sixers took a step back. This team was perfect with all the shooters around them for Simmons. Notice how Embiid is barely in any of Simmons highlights? Simmons plays better without Embiid. They let the shooters go.

This game style is the best game style Simmons has when he's fully healthy. 21 10 9 2stl 1 block, that was Ben's AVG over 10 weeks before the worst and the original back injury happened. Worst organisation in the NBA thinking that was a good idea, and I blame BB for that ultimate decision.

He didnt need a jumper. When he’s surrounded by shooter and cutters he plays like Draymond 2.0… Thats even more points. No one would question Draymond Greens value yet the Philly fans and coaches expected something out of Ben he never presented. He got in his head about it in ONE series and they played him. He used to have so much fun and play much freer with Bellinelli and JJ Reddick without embid on the floor. Embid is a great great player. But he plays at a pace that isnt great for what Ben likes to do. Not that they werent very good together. But imagine now those two players upgrade to KD and Kyrie. 🤦🏽‍♂️ i think this team is more complete than when they had Harden and even if Everyone was there because harden had to change into a point guard and he still didnt play at the pace ben will play at… its wild advantage to have a speedster 6’10 point sprinting with the ball down court into a break. Plus the screens he will set will lend to KDs shooting ability and Kyries creativity. Such a great fit. Defensive MASTER… This makes Nets by far the team with most upside for next few years

he is a top player...his home fans and media just don't respect him and his Coach just didn't trust him to be this...look at the activity and actions with Embiid out and even with him in...look how engaged and responsible Ben is that confidence. Tell me you saw that in the Hawks series where Doc didn't do any Dribble handoffs with Ben as the Screener...none. His most effective action...none?

This is how 76ers should've played like Simmons(great passing guard)+Embiid(versatile big) +Harris(wing that create offense) with a bunch of shooters In hindsight, we should've singed Danny Green instead of Al Horford Al is great, but the main reasons we signed him are resting for Embiid and keeping him out of Boston

Shooters with high IQs and passing ability with Ben...could have been special if the Sixers had a competent front office that saw his Value when he was growing in confidence rather than pivoting everything around Joel only...they ended up helping Joel number, but hurting both of their young stars by taking away shooing and other playmakers...Ersan, Marco and JJ were major in opening the floor up and seeing Ben diving getting his confidence up even with James Johnson and Winslow being deployed to try to "bully" him...he stepped through that incredibly...to see now where his career is and how little he is used in offense as a threat is a crime of coaching and organizational lack of vision

for the sixers to get up to the level of the bucks, lakers and clippers they need to try and get reddick back and covington decent shooters who can come up clutch on either defense or offense down the stretch plus simmons works well with both, just not sure about richardson or horford at the moment, even thybulle could get more minutes and he's much like a covington in that he's a great defender who can shoot well from beyond the arc

watching these ben simmons highlights just kinda shows me how easy it is for him to rack up assists, and not really in the good way. a lot of his assists were literally just dumping off to a shooter from the top of the key, doing nothing else but letting yoir shooters shoot. obviously, he has lots of flashes of his great vision but this goes to show how misleading stats can be. apparently bringing the ball upcourt, standing at the top of the key, passing to jj reddick and letting him hit great contested shots is what makes ben simmons 200x better than donovan mitchell.
