Rottnest Island Western Australia | One day and 5 hours of Snorkelling | Gopro Hero 7
Went over to Rottnest Island for the day and snorkelled at Little Salmon Bay and Parker Point. The water was crystal clear and so beautifully warm - sweet as.

I had a day there with my newly married bride back in '83, wow . . just an awesome day. Snorkeling at the many beautiful bays, traveling by bicycle and it was 38degC all day! I'll never forget that day, and now I'm 65 and thinking about going back there and reliving my memories Greetings from the South Island of New Zealand!
Rotto really has absolutely every possible marine environment just slung in together. Coral reef? Yep. Sea grass beds? Yep. Kelp forest? Yep. It really is an absolute gem, and Perth is so lucky to have it.

Great footage! Just out of curiosity, was majority of this footage taken at Little Salmon Bay? Were those crays at Little Salmon?

Thanks... all from Little Salmon, crays included. Lots around there most of the time.
ooh nice. im heading over to rottnest this weekend. how do you get such closeups of the fish?

Thank you. Enjoy Rotto. Close ups, never swim directly towards the fish, slow movements, and try to swim along the bottom....

@@stemature2118 no filters as not swimming deep. Just use the gopro default settings. Film in 60f/second so footage can be slowed down.
