I hated when others say that rise has unrealistic sibling dynamic? Those r the people who didn't watch rise, just bcuz they were depicted to be in more positive relationship for each other. The show focuses more on family and healthy relationships. Rise has the most realistic balanced sibling dynamic ever cuz they also annoyed each other's throats, if they actually see the show and can critic it later. But ever since I watch rise I got hyper fixated the siblings dynamic is top notch, it helped me realize how bad I am towards my siblings, even a slight movement of mine flinch them, and I take notes for positive traits and try to be more positive around them but I have a very intense mood swings so...

I don’t know for me it’s like half in half, I have brothers so I know that they can be extremely rough with each other but yeah they have their healthy moments with each other, I kinda think both of them at some aspects are unrealistic cause yeah they are rough but not dramatically degrading like 2012 but it’s also not as affectionate as 2018 ,_, Or it’s just my family who knows XD

@@-zazThat’s what siblings do based on experience but like since it is the earliest episodes it was starting as comedic and relatable but in other seasons they dive into more deeper angst in the sibling dynamic moments. They even tackle on the personal issues on the each turtle.

Because they’re siblings. Raph has a lot of anger in the earlier episodes and him and Mikey are instigators towards eachother. Also they have over a decade of ninja training. So they spar and train, it’s not like Raph is picking on someone weaker. Mikey can handle a bit of roughhousing, and he Raph goes through the most character development when it comes to his anger. Please keep watching, I promise they have a wonderful sibling relationship.

Love the subtle shift in the Rise turtles when they hear 12 Dee say he builds stuff out of Kraang parts So subtle yet so telling, absolutely amazing

I miss my childhood I remember making sure I was at the right time tmnt would be on so I could watch it I remember going to Blackpool and taking a picture with Raph I remember trying to get every disk of every type of tmnt out there I remember having a tmnt backpack I remember raph and mikey being my fav I remember watching people play tmnt games I remember watching the 2015(I think) live action movies and vibing to the song shell shocked I remember searching on KZread for little tmnt clips like “raph vs Donnie” and finally I remember being heartbroken when splinter died

Great video. Personally I will forever love 2012 TMNT because I grew up with it and the ROTMNT just came out of no where. It just changed so much. I love 2012 character development too. I should watch ROTMNT tho give it a chance. Have a great day! Love the video!😁

I REALLY want to say gow amazing this is. nobody EVER makes rottmnt react to 2012, and it drives me insane. i love this video. would you consider a part 2?

Honest review on the 2012 characters bc I haven't ranted abt something in a hot minute [SPOILERS IN HERE!!!] Raph: He is very much a hot head, he obviously tries to change, but his brothers do not help. Master splinter helps a bit but also doesn't (I'll get to his... interesting parenting in a hot minute) his humor is directed towards making fun of his brothers, I personally find a lot of his humor funny, but sometimes he takes it way too hard, mostly on Mikey. Leo and Raph don't get along too much their still brothers though (This goes for every version, so it's not too much of a surprise) I feel like Donnie and Raph don't get too much time together in the series, so not much to say abt them. Donnie: He seems pretty closed off actually, not super, but you can defiently tell it's there. I loved his short revenge arc, bc it shows he very much has some pent up rage. He is very pressured by his brothers, mostly Leo to solve things. I wish I had more to say, but I feel like thats really it? (I love him sm tho!!!:-) Okay first of all, let's start with that one episode where he pour mutagen on himself. In this episode he says he did it bc he wanted to look cooler, his brothers make fun of him for his appearence, and don't help him even tho he is rlly scared what will happen to him. (Example of Raph going too far. Not cool man.) Mikey always tries to cheer up the team, which just makes me think he has smiling depression, he obviously hides his feelings. BUT OMG WAIT- in the episode where they go into his mind, they totally missed the opportunity to make it super angsty. But other thing about to say this episode, Raph says "whenever things get bad he goes off to coo coo land" (I think he said something along those lines) and I think that says a lot on it's own. Leo: Leo is very much pressured to be the leader, he tries his best but his brothers rarely listen. He obviously tried his best but prob needs to understand that all his brothers have different fighting styles and personality and as leader he needs to adapt and understand how to regulate these to work together instead of making everyone act the same I dont think I have much to say abt him but he has a very cute smile:)

many time ago I didn't like Rise because 2012 was my childhood, my first TNMT series that I watched. Duckling syndrome has worked. in fact, I just didn't want to admit that the 2018 series has a good and healthy dynamic between the brothers, and in 2012 they are CLEARLY having a bad time. It's just toxic. I liked your reaction and I see the chemistry between the characters, but for some reason, when angst or injuries of one of the brothers were touched upon, everyone reacted so frivolously. it felt like they didn't care that Rafe was struggling with his emotions, Mikey was being neglected, and Donnie and Leo were buckling under the load of responsibility:(
