Nice machine, we just bought a 1090 and i'm keen to see it work. nice to here how smoothly it runs with low power. our custom grinder has a hay buster and it takes some serious power.

How wet of hay can you grind? Can you grind haylage that's been wrapped in plastic?

Grinds wet hay better than standard grinders, but I think anything that is really wet it will have a hard time with. Never tried to grind anything wrapped in plastic

I would guess it would have no issue at all , I know they sell a version of this grinder designed specifically just for grinding corn
