i found that the best way to do oryx sanctuary is with oreo, i shouldve died so many times but didnt thanks to oreo, it is amazing

Knight seems like an odd recommendation for a melee character, seeing as defence isn't really that useful in oryx's sanctuary. Both of the other melees have better suited abilites/stats for the o3 fight. Warrior can reposition/dodge easily with it's speedy buff. Paladin can self sustain himself with healing and also has a slightly higher speed stat which helps with repositioning. Seeing as all melees have the same max health stat, I wouldn't ever run knight over the others. That's just my preference though.

Like I said man its just an opinion, and I dont know where you got this bizarre idea that defense doesnt matter in sanctuary though haha. The only notable phase of o3 with consistent piercing shots is Celestial.

I’ve tried all three melees and knight is not great compared to the other two. I personally find warrior to be the easiest because boosting through that heavens wall is very helpful. Also defense is basically meaningless in endgame dungeons because you’re probably going to die in about six to seven shots no matter what you’re getting hit by.

I noticed that you were playing on center during celestial, but I find it easier to play off center during that phase as you can see the oryx shots more easily. The pet stasis portals are rarely a threat off center, especially if you follow the gaps and know when the shotguns pass.

Well, yes, it's easier to see the shots coming. But personally, I got so used to playing on-center (for, like, 5+ years) that playing off-center actually makes me play worse. I'm not used to it, so my movements are very sloppy and I get mixed up as to where my character is, and end up taking more shots than I would normally.

I've been focusing on actually dodging every hit on o3, its going well so far.. the only phase I cant dodge well on is inner rotations and armour crumples

afro rotmg it’s definitely the best time to practice! I’m struggling to dodge once o3’s pushed to heavens though. I always seem to get hit by at least one or two stray shots regardless of what’s happening.

Idk if I’m insanely lucky but I did my first mini boss and I got a white and a st in one white bag

I mean mis-positioning in celestial can lead to being 100-0'd, dodging is still very important.

@@aphrow Figured it out earlier this year, I started with Seb's method before realizing that it was a legitimate method, just seemed the simplest way to dodge. Have recently switched to rotating as it seems to be a bit more engaging.

Yeah you can, oryx shoots out a circular projectile that does around 150 damage so be prepared to eat that haha
