(rotmg o3 WR) Speedrun Solo Oryx Sanctuary (
Sorc OP. Wizard is not my friend anymore 😭.
WR was held by Baes w/ a 5:34 on Wizard. Charizard had it before him with a 5:38. This was my second try; the first was complete dogshit. O3 had pretty decent RNG and I played Leuc decently.
Main improvements from here with this strat are in a faster clear (mine was 1:20, could see a 1:10 or even less clear) and in using Earthen Wand swapping (could shave a few seconds off O3).
However, speedrunning osanc is a pain in the ass (crashers, RNG for leuc, etc) so I don't plan on doing another ever. It seems like sub-5 could be possible with a perfect clear and even better O3 RNG + good play.

Heh sorc, I knew we would see it oneday. since the fast clear. wp. ps. havent played rotmg in like 1.5years so no clue about items or such. Do you think sorc is the fastest, or can wizard still beat with better gaming?

If he's gonna stagger slow and you end up running into him (i.e. stagger phases) it doesn't matter if you stack or not because all the same shots hit him. For mids you just have to line up the full line, don't need to stack time it you'll still do all the damage.

@@NoobWaffle_rotmg So are you saying that on stagger phases, since you end up sitting on o3, it would be the same as initially lumi stacking? Would you not get double the benefits with the initial stack or would having to back out to get the lumi sweet spot cancel it out.

Backing out to get the sweet spot would cancel some benefits of stacking; the complete stacking is usually better for actual runs b/c O3 will stagger/guard faster than in a solo (or has decoys), so you want to cram the damage in a shorter window. No need in a solo.

BRO 3:58 WAS ABSOLUTLEY DISGUSTING. not just that clip but the whole run... The positioning, the prefire, the bullet stacking, the shot leading. it was all so imprinted into your muscle memory and I feel like not enough people were able to register that takes a degenerate amount of months and years of play time to do consistently. you need to do a touch some grass speedrun next
