@@latoyatv2030 Not at all. He never dated Shiri. He's only dated Katherine and that's since the first season and they got engaged at the beginning of the third season. They stayed together for a while after the show ended but then broke up.

One of my favorite shows. My sister would come stay the night for us to watch this together. I introduced it to my daughters and they love it too. My oldest got her dorm watching it while at college. Another generation in love with the true Roswell show!

Cannt believe they tried to remake this . jokers... This was magical

This show is one of the most underrated shows I've ever seen. This is a beautiful show that was never really appreciated. This show actually brings me back to a girl I dated in highschool. Woo So long ago 😇

Keep following Jason Katims, the creator. He went on to develop Friday Night Lights and Parenthood. But my favorite is when he was just beginning: My So-Called Life. He didn’t create it, but he was integral in that so, so awesome show.

Yeah It brings back the memories of the sweetness, the innocence and the soulfulness of young intense love.

So much nostalgia for this show. I can't forget this couple. Their story is amazing. Chemistry was out of this world. I remember being so upset in season 3 tho at how the story went. But thank you for this video. This song and Dido's opening is legendary. .

Well, I concur with what many of you have already said. This was the almost perfect couple. What is incredible is that, if you think about it, these characters were just filmed but their expressions, the chemistry between them, the choice of the songs, have given a very special dimension beyond the simple display. This TV show has personality like many films or other shows will never have. I understand why I fell in love with Roswell by J Katims when I was 17... This is a masterpiece, but I have a more noticeable preference for season 1.

Was and is my favorite tv series, Max and Liz forever.💛

I really miss these characters 😩. The reboot will never live up to the original #Roswell

@@philmuda EXACTLY! I couldn't have said it better myself. I was seriously shocked when it was canceled. At least it held on for a 3rd season. We almost didn't have it.

I love this show. I think it’s interesting that in the ending scene, you can only see Kyle, smiling and throwing petals. This show was so good I won’t even bother with the reboot, which is totally unnecessary.

Just finished watching this series for the first time, and loved it, there was and is so much more to add to the story line after season 3. I Started the reboot and think it doesn't come near to the original... Michael gay 🙄, little miss perfect Isobel well she's weird, Max still has the brooding secretive look but... and Lizzy agh totally not into her... and I think Maria probably won't have a big part to play...

There was a big conundrum concerning the music of Roswell (1999 - 2002). They didn’t put much foresight into releasing it for home viewing. The way they picked the music for the original television-aired episodes was amazing. If you look at the titles, they are often exactly about what is going on. “Not What I Wanted”, the scene where Michael drags Maria to the bowling alley for date night and tries to hide the fact that he double-booked with his team. When the series was finally released on DVD, they had changed, I believe, most of the original songs playing throughout the episodes to completely different ones. Sometimes, the reason for replacing a song seemed arbitrary and dumb. They would take a word from the song title and find another song with the same word in it, for instance, and the feel of the scene would be completely changed and without the same effect. I’ve been working on a Roswell playlist of songs from the original television version, as well as fan music videos (including my own), intros and other extras. It's true the soundtrack of the show on TV is not the same of the one in the DVD. They said that rights of the songs was to expensive, they had to change them to make the dvds collection more affordable.

I remember that back then, when other series were starting to come out on DVD more and more, there was a strong undercurrent of people (including me) who were anxious for Roswell to be released. There were even petitions. Maybe that had something to do with pushing them to do it sooner rather than right. I remember them saying back then that it was due to licensing issues, but the replacement music was so bizarrely off, it was ALIEN. My husband and I were both into the show when we met, he doesn't get as much meaning out of it as I do by far, and he is even okay with the replacement music and always trying to justify it. I s*** you not, ever since I learned that (not that I don't watch it several times a year, as it is), I have speedwatched the series around and around again more than I used to, in order to condition him to become used to the PROPER television music so that, if he hears the DVD music, he will be unable to bear it. Don't worry; I've openly told him this and we continue to watch it. That's actually part of why I made a playlist of the music on my channel, for my own convenience in doing so! Anyway, whenever I'm particularly down and he wants to get me out of it, he goes, "Wanna watch Roswell?" Because "you know, Roswell's home." ;)

Better show than "Smallville". I love Superman more than anyone, but "Smallville" simply was not well written. A lot of the stories came from "Roswell". How can anyone not see that? I miss "Roswell".

Diana Reyes It was very obvious, especially when both TV shows used to compete with each before 9/11 happened. And it was "Roswell" that had a better script & the actors acted better. I think "Smallville" put a lot of the burden on Tom Welling, the Superman story & the special effects, but simply not enough on good acting, which is the whole idea of watching TV- good acting makes good a good show.

In the context of roswell i think it refers to max and isabelle and the other. They are aliens on this foreign lands. They are alone with nobody else. The refrain of this song goes like " i have sumch to lose in this lonely place". Tou can give a meaning you want to any song tho. A beautiful song is a song which has many layers of meaning ;)
