Rosso Campari: An Intoxicating Cocktail
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
It's blood red. It's supercharged. It's loud. And fast. What's not to like? If you're one of those youngsters who's always wondered what a real pre-war sports car is like to drive, jump in alongside a well-known former F1 ace to find out. Get ready for a dusty high speed ride through the lavender-scented landscape which inspired some of history's greatest artists (Vincent Van Gogh called it home) and which recalls the backdrop for this car's heyday 83 years ago, when another larger-than-life character worked his magic in that very same seat. His name? Giuseppe Campari.

Since the Pandemic, we’ve all learned to live without movie theaters, and this is one more reason to continue to do so. Brilliant videos.
Wow! Pure automotive art, as it used to race. Thank you Jochen, Alfa and Simon. Brillaint!
The cinematography on these films is outstanding , bravo 👏🏼
In queste produzioni c'è una cura del dettaglio maniacale che non si vede da nessun altra parte. Standing ovation.
Great car, great driver, really captures the essence of the original duo.

Thanks for watching
Your videos deserve the oscar
The fact each of your films, let’s call them that because they are, has a story and a point makes them all the more intoxicating to watch. You really take us there with you.
Good Driver, Jochen Mass. I meet him in Stuttgart. Down-on-earth-man!
Stunning, just stunning in every detail.
Incredible videos! These are the best on the net!!
Magnifico! Bravo! 👏👏👏
Simply the best short film on you tube - period
Stunning video on all levels. Soul + style + sophistication.
What is surprising is the amount of views it’s astonishing they are so low. For the true car enthusiasts they speak to the very core of why we love it.
Spettacolo 😍
Bravo👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
The opera song (in this case, it's Nessun Dorma, sung by Pavarotti) is quite fitting, considering that Giuseppe Campari is an aspiring opera singer.

@@stevenkaufman8336 I don't know. If I remember correctly, he's just starting out by the time he died. The race where he was killed, the 1933 Gran Premio di Monza, is supposed to be his last race, before retiring from motor racing and concentrating on opera.

The sunflower field reminds me of Kansas.
Great shots always, great Jochen
Absolutely stunning video Simon, you are among the best producing these kind of classic related videos, just enough detail but loads of passion, Kudos to you and thanks to Jodie for the introduction to you, but I remember you from the 300 slr video a while back…….thanks again from the middle of nowhere BC, Canada !
Excellent!
Chissà se vedremo mai cortometraggio di Alfa Romeo B.A.T. P.S. il vostro regista è un genio.

Imagine this piece of film without any music... Let’s hear THAT ENGINE and the rest of it! Wonderful Italian location, Nuvolari’s Alfa, Jochen Mass, filming... Do it justice and reduce the music level.

Thanks for the comment. Entertainment videos need music. We are well aware of what you say and lower the music when we can let people listen to a clean engine sound. But all in all these videos need music and you can't constantly keep it low, then it just sounds strange....

@@KidstonProductions Thank you for your reply. There are many instances where quality videos actually do get it better with audio levels. I would imagine that you are aware that many directors in film choose to not use music in many scenes or instances for a particularly powerful effect. I invite Kidson to explore that.
A Tutto Gaz !!
In which part of England? France? was this filmed? Beautiful countryside. I thought it might be Italy, but the description mentions Van Gogh and Van Gogh never went to Italy as far as I know, and Italy is full of old, kinda decrepit houses with laundry hanging from the windows, so I don't think this is in Italy.

There are lots of beautiful villas in Italy and some decrepit houses as well, like in basically all countries. But this is in the South of France. Thanks for asking.
