Ross' comments about "moving the otter" has happened! Marshaling at Brands Hatch on a BTCC weekend, we realised a driver was using our position as a braking point, so my mate and I shuffled 20 feet closer to the Druids hairpin once he'd passed by. Next lap, the Clio came bowling in, braked next to us, and got totally crossed up, just avoiding the kitty litter. We then moved back beyond our first position, and on the next lap we watched as the driver braked too early, and got it wrong all over again. Marshals, contrary to popular belief, are not traffic cones!
