i really love how ross cares so much about where he’s started. it’s upsetting when you see celebrities hate on their past work because it’s irrelevant to their present self but the way ross talks about austin and ally is touching because not only do his fans love it so much but we love knowing that he is appreciative of his past and where he’s grown from. i’ve stuck around for so long not only because of their music but their personalities. they’re so family driven and down to earth people, i’ll forever support them. i’m so proud of all their accomplishments, they deserve the world

Well something that you need to understand is that a lot of celebrities (actors specifically) are constantly type casted into certain roles, or they land a role that becomes so well known and memorable that although it gains them fame……people who watch those shows end up having a hard time forgetting that those actors aren’t actually those characters in real life, nor can they continue playing those characters forever. Take British actor Charles Shaughnessy…..even though he began this role in like his late 20’s, his most well known role is the Broadway producer Maxwell Sheffield from the tv show The Nanny. Although The Nanny ended in 1999, Charles is still acting but so many people continue to only know him from that one role meanwhile he’s starred in like 3-4 other shows, one of them being soap opera. It’s not that these actors and actresses get annoyed when they’re known for certain roles and hate it, but…..they just wanna be recognized and appreciated for their other roles, not just ones that shot them to fame.

Just a great interview. Special listening to these two guys. Just started following them last year after hearing an interview on this show from a couple of years ago. They touch me with their humility, their character, their openness, and their talent. No lie they have changed me in ways I would have said music never could. Thanks.

I really appreciate the driver era, they deserve all the best. I'm following since R5 started and I do not regret about anything, never got disappointed about their music or about them as humans.

I literally NEED more Ross and Troye. The chemistry and the fact they’re both so funny is the best. I want them to collab again.

Don’t really like watching podcast but anything that has the driver era involved is never boring. Have been a fan since I was 6 I am now about to be seventeen and I love them so much they have changed my life. I can’t wait to grow even more with them ❤️

watching this the day after i saw them live as the driver era for the first time (i saw them 3x as R5) and when I met ross yesterday i got to tell him ive loved him for 10 years, watching this family grow and evolve as musicians has been one of the highlights of my life, being an R5 fan as a kid, to now being a college student driver era fan 🥲 truly a blessing

Let me start off by saying awesome interview. How do you come up with things to talk about? When are you going to interview Walker Scobell? Now to TDE, there is so much I want to say about these guys. They are incredible people, like no one I have ever met before. Being a newer fan (since 2021) I feel like I can say this with confidence that it is coming from looking at their hearts and the kind of people they are. I feel that Rocky is super underrated, and I know he was like wherever but I want him to get the recognition that he deserves for his insane talent. After every interview I hear or read about that man, I fall deeper in love with him. I never knew he was so into psychology, spirituality, and all that. I absolutely love to learn more and more about him. Right guy, wrong time for now!

Ik I believe that rocky is so underrated too. Everyone I’ve ever met that likes the driver era is because of Ross lynch. I started liking them cause of their music. Yes I was a fan of their whole family before but like I fell in love with their music to be a fan today. Ever since falling in love with their music though I have realized that I want to know way more about rocky and I want him to get so much more recognition. He deserves the world ❤️

Ok maybe underrated isn't the right word, I should have said unrecognized, Unappreciated. He does have a fan base, maybe not as large as Ross's but he has one. Rocky gets overshadowed by Ross's fame. They are both so freaking talented it is insane! They both need to be recognized equally for that talent is all I am saying.

Im always curious about how is the process of releasing music, working in a studio and such. Im not used to seeing Rocky but he looks drunk or a little lost in this interview, or im just too unfocused and i dont understand what they are saying. Next time you see them tell them to put it on KZread their trips and all and how they put their thoughts into songs and all, i would love to see it. I wish i could have their lifes, swipe my life with one of the two for a week. Good point of bringing the sexy symbol thing, from what i see sometimes people have mixed feelings about it and to me is super funny, specially the objectifying aspect of it.
