As i watch friends again and again, i have came to realise dt David Schwimmer was the best of all 6 .. His character wasn't written funny, unlike chandler(sarcasm) or joey(child-like innocence) bt David improvise it he acted best, plus his physical comedy is like a cherry on top❤❤❤

David Schwimmer's comedic performance improved throughout the seasons. His comedic timing was the best out of all them.

I would just like to state that paleontology is a very underappreciated science not to mention it’s always confused with archaeology which is the study of ancient peoples and prehistory paleontology is the study of ancient animals and plants

6:38 I am an archaeobotanist (studying archaeological plants). When I first watched Ross mentioning “botanists are such geeks,” I thought “yeah maybe they are geeks.” I didn’t know myself would become a botanist 😂 I more thought I would become a paleontologist because part of the reason that Ross’ job and passion in the Friends looked cool!

Dear Sarah. I 'dig' you.
I would like to remind everybody that Ross used to wear a dress and a hat to play with a tea set and sing: “I am bee, I like tea” which ties in to the story about being a sensitive boy he told the male nanny

Dinosaur cheques and dinosaur neckties are cute tho 🥺
Ross: Ya know when I was growing up, my dad was kind of a tough guy. Ya know and as a kid I wasn't the athlete I am now. Rachel: HAHAHAHA!! Ross: I PLAY SQUASH! Me: YOU GET SQUASHED!
You know, as much as Ross kind of sucks, it's kind of easy to see where all of his insecurities come from. He's surrounded by people who belittle him every day for being a boring geek who works a not-traditionally masculine job.

ROSS IS THE BEST 👌
3:25 this was SO sad. If u take of the laugh tracks is just devastating. What rosses father did was awful. Poor ross... Reachel shouldnt have made fun of him right after he shared that I know this is just a tv comedy, and al fictional, but that toxic behavior towards kids happens in real life and affect adults for life. Like it did this character, ross. And his hatred towards the nanny comes from a small trauma
Joey : No god no no 😂
6:36 Ross is drinking from a souvenir mug from Versailles. In case that is ever relevant
4:16 as any real paleontologist would have known, dinosaurs were actually extremely popular in Victorian England...although the reconstructions looked a little different back then.

Ross would steal the show sometimes he was so funny. However Martha Kaufman tried ruining him by projecting all of her jelos boyfriend grudges through his character.

Ross was my personal favorite!! Especially out of the guys, Joey was too much of a Narcissistic stupid pig who used Women! While Chandler is too annoying with his "jokes and"sarcasm"!

I always think, Ross, with his tall height, a little crooked neck, dark hair, eyebrows, and those big circular eyes could be nothing but a paleontologist :D
I always wondered why Ross was so close to people he had nothing in common with. It's like high school all over again. It's a big world out there Ross, my man. Go find some friends who are smart and intellectually inclined. And Rachel looked like the classic bored housewife in later seasons.

Something I always found strange was how the students in Ross's class are always depicted as bored and disinterested, as if they just forced some random people to sit in a paleontology class. I assume if a student takes paleontology, they must be interested in the subject, right?
The Great Species Mixup by Tom Hennigan on October 29, 2017 ..... when you cross a zebra with a horse? ... a zorse, .... How about crossing a polar bear and a grizzly? ..... “pizzly,” ..... These are real examples of separate species that can breed and produce unique hybrid babies. ..... wholphins (mix of a bottlenose dolphin and a false killer whale) and geeps (mix of a goat and a sheep). ..... ...... Yet when a llama from the high mountains of South America is artificially inseminated with a camel from the deserts of Africa, out pops a cama. The parents’ genes are so similar that they can produce viable offspring! ...... A dzo is the male hybrid of a yak and a domestic cow. Female hybrids are called dzomos. Fascinatingly, dzos are infertile, but dzomos can produce young. They’re also called yakows. ...... Camels and llamas are not just classified as different species but as different genera (the next higher level of classification). How could they still produce viable offspring ... ? .... we have separate branches on Darwin’s tree connected to each other by hybridization. ..... How about the lynx and bobcat? They are different cat species, but readily hybridize along the Canada-USA border, producing fertile offspring. ..... we can have relationships with coyotes and wolves. In the case of the coyote living in the northeastern United States and Canada, DNA analysis has revealed that its genetic recipe consists of eastern wolf, coyote, and a dash of dog. Because of the new findings, it has been rechristened a coywolf. ..... .... creationists prefer the term kinds to describe creatures that interbreed .... ..... Bears are my favorite example. Currently eight bear species roam the forests of North America, South America, Europe, and Asia (and another species lived in Africa until its recent extinction). Most readily hybridize with each other, even though thousands of miles may separate their native populations. When you see a bear, you just know it is a bear. Though pizzlies and grolar bears are known, new genetic studies reveal that Alaskan brown bears likewise have polar bear DNA in every cell. This illustrates the difference between species and “kinds” and that polar bears and brown bears can freely mix. ..... ...... all bears came from a single kind on the Ark, ..... All species of bears are members of the same family, Ursidae. The same is true within the camel, cat, and dog kinds. So creationists typically place a kind around the family level, though in some cases the classification may be above or below the family. .... Today’s big cats, except for snow leopards, can all hybridize with one another (lions, tigers, leopards, and jaguars). If the jaguar is male, the hybrid is called a jagulep. If the leopard is male, the hybrid is a lepjag. Female hybrids tend to be fertile, while males are not. ...... ..... Another striking example is lions and tigers, which produce tigons and ligers. Even in the plant world, different species of pine trees all over the world can hybridize. Even more impressive, the tanzanite orchid blends from three different genera of orchids. .... ..... .... . Each kind is a masterpiece of design, containing immense genetic diversity and potential. .... .... .... introgression. .... when a hybrid produces its own offspring, which then mates back with one of its parent species, producing babies with both hybrid and parent DNA. .... the hybrid offspring of a cactus finch and a medium ground finch. With a weight of 1 oz. (28 g) .... this burly “finch” outweighs its mixed parents by almost 40% and sports an oversized head. .... Darwin’s finches are actually in the tanager family (Thraupidae), not the finch family, and consist of about 15 species. Detailed DNA analysis of the tanager kind, published in 2015, shows that introgression and hybridization is happening more often and more rapidly than anyone thought possible. .... ..... , members of the sparrow family can hybridize with members of the finch and tanager families, suggesting that-at least with these birds-the “kind” is above the family. .... A zedonk is the product of a female zebra and male donkey. If the male and female were reversed, it would be a zonkey. Any zebra combination with another horse species, including zorses and zebmules, is called a zebroid. Tom Hennigan is associate professor of biology at Truett-McConnell University, where he teaches organism biology and ecology. He is coauthor of the newest edition of the Wonders of Creation series, The Ecology Book. answersingenesis.org/hybrid-animals/great-species-mixup/? A reproductive kind is around family level. The macroevolutionist (ameoba to man) must show how it is possible for one reproductive kind to become another reproductive kind such as a primate to a human which is above the family level without being ability of reproduction. What speciation is referring to is diversity already in the DNA of a reproductive kind. No new reproductive kind is actually being created. ThIs diversity in a reproductive kind is known as microevolution (epigenetic) which is observable demonstrational science. The macro-evolutionist is taking the amazing programed diversity of a reproductive kind (microevolution) and extrapolating backwards and saying macro evolution (the belief one reproductive kind becomes another reproductive kind such as a primate to a human is also true. The mechanism of reproduction is not possible above the family level. The mechanism for one reproductive kind to become another reproductive kind above the family level has only postulated. Macro evolution (the belief one reproductive kind becomes another reproductive kind such as a primate to a human) is not observable demonstrational science. Macro evolution (amoeba to man evolution) is a materialistic philosophy of history masquerading as science.

From a historical perspective, Victorians loved dinosaurs, and Palaeontology developed quite a lot during their period, so I beg to differ with Monica
This show was an anti-elitist propaganda that aimed to mock the intellectual class in the US. All the sarcasm, hate, mockery, scorn, and contempt toward Ross's occupation represents the downgrading of academic work and intellectual thought, thus the celebration of ignorance and inferiority. To all kids who are passionate about science and willing to excel at their studies: don't you ever listen to those calling you nerds or eggheads, follow your dreams and f**k the peer pressure!
