Yes and Rosie would pass her chair over to Caroline Rhea and she would become the Executive Consultant of the show and then it got cancelled in favor of The Ellen DeGeneres Show Now don't get me wrong, Ellen is funny as a comedienne, but I question the way she interviews people Ellen will never be Rosie, but I felt bad for Caroline Rhea, I thought she was pretty good

Loved her show and hardly missed it when I had a day off from work. A few days before Halloween in 1996, I went into the hospital for several health issues and remember watching her do her Halloween show with kids on wearing their outfits. I was in ICU and felt so much better just being able to smile for an hour or so. I'm all better now, but oddly enough, that afternoon is a treasured memory for me.

So, i'm 17 years old, and definitely an old soul. I watched this because I absolutely adore Nathan Lane, and when Rosie (who I love just as much) described her crew's reaction to the end montage and how they were crying I thought, "Haha, I guess i'll be sitting through that part (not crying)" But once it was on, and it started, it was almost as if I was transported to the 90s/early 2000s myself and I started to cry! In my mind I kept saying, "It feels like another era has ended, like this nostalgic time is passing and it's bittersweet". Like I said, i'm 17 and was raised during the mid 2000s, yet I feel so comforted by this old television. Thank you for posting this video.

I completely understand. I’m 22 and I vaguely remember watching The Rosie O’Donnell Show as a youngster. I was just about to turn 4 when this aired so I really don’t remember watching it. But I still love it. They just don’t make TV like it anymore.
