oh man!i cant believe how big that crowd is!that is absolutly amazing,these guys are beutiful!birelis take on the 1937 transcriptions was emaculantly unbelievable!never fails to amaze me!

Quand la virtuosité est vraiment au service de la musique, c'est déjà tout bon. Mais quand, comme ici, il y a de la décontraction, de l'humour et une totale liberté créative respectant parfaitement l'esprit de Django, là c'est du grand art !

Quand on écoute les enregistrements de Django Reinhardt, on entend de la douceur, du calme, des émotions, bref, de la musique Sur cette vidéo, outre que le son est métallique et agressif (c'est peut-être lié à la prise de son ou à la qualité de la compression), je ne retrouve pas ce feeling. On a l'impression que leur but est uniquement de jouer le plus de notes possible. C'est ce que mon prof de piano appelait de la virtuosité gratuite, c'est mettre la musique au service de sa virtuosité.
