If I get to blend each layer quite a bit it doesn’t take long to set up. Maybe 5 minutes. But sometimes I’ve had to wait 20 minutes. Just depends on fragrance oil and how much you can blend it.

No by husband made it for me. It was fairly simple just figure out what size you want, cut the wood and wood glue/ nail it all together 🥰 easy peasy!

Great video 😘 I just think you could try not using the music but actual sounds of the procedure and it would be incredible

Queen of Hearts and Neutral Gray colorants. It’s a really pretty pink. nurturesoap.com?aff=4

I usually don't like red anything but this is so very pretty ophelia. What made you decide to stop using shea?

Thank you so much ☺️ it’s actually more of a pink. I found Shea to take the longest to melt with the heat transfer method so I took it out 😂

Would it be easier to melt just the hard oils first with the hot lye water and then add the liquid oils?

You can do it that way. I did it that way for years. Then one day I thought I wonder how it would do adding all oils in. Worked the same. It may take a couple minutes longer to melt fully but that’s one less dish I have to wash 🙌🏻😂

What mica or pigment do u use to get the bright red?? I could never get mines this bright😩

Helloo. Completely ignorant on soap making: does the lye dissipate at some stage of this process? Or is this a less concentrated lye, as opposed to ones used in relaxers…?

I’m not familiar with what relaxers are. But with the lye it doesn’t dissipate, a chemical reaction happens and it turns to soap. No lye is present after 24 hours :)

No. I used to. But my food started tasting like chemicals so I stopped. Now I just cover with a lid and towel. They go through gel no problem :)

Is the name of the fragrance rose quartz? Where can I buy it?

Yes it is. You can get it from Bramble Berry or Bescented. They smell the exact same :)
