The Basics Of Rose Gold Font Effects
The most important thing to remember when creating a rose gold text gradient or any other metallic gradient within your letters is that metallics catch light in some areas and shadows in others. This means you’ll have a balance between the actual color and then a variation of lighter and darker sections to accommodate light and shadow that is found in the natural reflections in metal.
If you’re using two colors you will bring in a very light color variation of the color that you want to use and a very dark variation of that same color so that the gradient mix finds a balance somewhere in the middle.
Don’t use black or white solid colors for your highlights and shadows this will look unrealistic. Make sure you stick to variations of the same color when creating metal letters.
Optional - Stick to thin fonts or fonts that have a lot of texture to them like handwritten and Marker fonts for the best results.

You can download a rose gold color palette image from prettywebzDOTcom/rose-gold-font-effects/ and use the eyedropper tool to sample colors from the palette. You can do this by going to the INSERT tab, choose PICTURE in the pop-up, then choose PICTURE FROM FILE and navigate to where you saved the file.

Hello there, you can get the codes on the blog post here: prettywebz.com/rose-gold-font-effects/ but the easiest thing to do is download the photo of the color swatches I have in the post and upload it to Word or PowerPoint so that you can use the eyedrop tool as I did in the video.

Hi there, As far as I know, you cannot create metallic gradients in Canva. Canva does have gradients. If you search the word gradient you will find them. You may be able to manipulate stops but again, I'm not sure. Even if you can make custom gradients, the problem is you would have to mask your text with the gradient. I know Canva has lettering that holds pictures so you could add your gradient as an image but you can't do it with your own text as in PowerPoint and Word.

Grd is a Photoshop file, it will only work in that program

Yes, you can do this in Photoshop by adding a blending option to your text layer. I have some pre-made Photoshop rose gold gradients you can get those here: prettywebz.com/rose-gold-font-effects/ I'll be doing a video soon on how to load these and use them to make rose gold text effects in Photoshop.

In Word, type the word and select it then go to the text color drop down and select gradient. Then and the color stoppers will come up just as in Powerpoint.

Yeah I have a video about working with gradients using gold. Its the same concept just different colors. You can follow this tutorial, just use colors for the rose gold instead.
