This weekend UCLA Football Coach Terry Donahue was honored with a bronze statue outside of the Rose Bowl. Coach was a legend on the gridiron, but he was an even better man. We tend to mythicize individuals after they’ve passed, but with Coach, no amount of praise can truly capture his character. I miss him, hIs advice and his sense of humor. We hit it off the first time we met with some big and loud laughs…and then we became family. Man I wish you were still around.
