All of those teams have much better attackers than Everton do and they’ve all had money to spend with an actual owner unlike Everton

Because the stupid P.L. rules MADE THEM sale players, you do understand that right, and they basically couldn't spend, its all a load of BS, so he took a team going down last year, on 19 points with like 17 games left, beat Arsenal, Newcastle and Brighton to keep them up, then took that same team this year and has them on 48 points today, even whilst having some major injuries and no one to replace them during the year. 13 SHUT-OUTS. Hell all he needs is one or two players who can go forth and create chances, Everton as zero now, DCL has to have service, he is awful with his feet. That core is very good, just no descent guys going forward.

Now, no spending basically by the crooked rules of the P.L. and those same bums made them sell Richarlison and Gordon and hes on 48 points with 13 shutouts. Without that org. at the back, Everton would be finished. Anyone can win when the P.L. allows you to cheat like Man City and Chelsea (who still arent great but are getting better)

At the very least, a nomination for Dyche would have acknowledged aspects of success other than winning trophies. Everton will finish 15th or 16th, but our defensive record is fantastic. We're only bettered by Arsenal, City, and Liverpool. We don't score many, but from set pieces, only Arsenal have scored more. I don't disagree that Arteta has done very well at Arsenal, and I won't be disappointed if he wins it - he played for Everton, I like him. Dyche has done as much as any other manager despite having limited resources and facing significant adversity 👏

Not for me but it depends what you see as manager of the season i think villa get one more win or spurs lose or draw one more game then surely pound for pound unai emery who has transformed villa this season must be the number one candidate

@@wembley636 Always found lots of Newcastle fans have an irrational dislike for Everton, which I simply don't understand. It isn't like there's any geographical reason or that there's ever been any head-to-head battle for trophies to cultivate a rivalry. Evertonians are pretty indifferent toward Newcastle, so this hostility seems pretty one sided. Am I missing something here?

He’s a really good speaker, he has interesting opinions, whether they’re on point or nonsense he tends to justify them quite well, give you something to think about. I think he’s a good addition. Way better than Jeff Stelling or OHara or some of the other non prime time shows.
