The G-Man at his prime, he is the best on that guitar. He lived for the music and played those blues until he collapsed on stage. He is so missed by millions of people, he will live in my heart forever. ❤️

I am 68 years old and saw Rory live in England in 1973. Blew my mind and made me a lifelong fan!

The guitar player you recognize by his sound and his playing among thousands of others.

I knew Gallagher and loved him for both his skill on the guitar as well as for his open personality. Rory was a gentle person, open to talk with anyone and everytime he played he did so because he felt he owed it to the people who came and watched him. I've talked many a times with him after this or that gig and he was always welcoming, a true human being not in pursuit of fame, but in pursuit of being the best musician in that moment for the people being there. Loved him to bits.

I discovered Rory when I was a young teen. My grandma was from Ireland so his music meant that much more to me. As I got older I was always in love with our black blues. As did the English and Irish musicians. The blues got me through so much in life. 💜💜

I'm from Winnipeg, Canada. I saw Rory live, twice. Rory was a supper nice guy. His concerts were amazing. There's a street in Ireland named after him and a statue of him.

This is from the Irish Tour '74 film whereby Tony Palmer captured Rory and band on the road, hence the imagery of Rory walking around. This song is such a perfect mood piece and his guitar work delivers it with such honest passion. Suggest you react to Walk On Hot Coals from Irish Tour '74 album (audio version, though - as that song is used to open the film and they come in half way). It's mind-bending what Rory does with that song. Anyway, thanks for another great reaction, and keep on...

When I saw Rory in L.A. in 91, Slash was in the audience, VIP section ,of course. Rory brought him out during his encore and they jammed on a couple of Chuck Berry songs. As good as Slash is, he was putting everything into his playing to try to keep up with Gallagher. Rory just made it look effortless.

i enjoy watching your reactions because you manage to dig up a lot of forgotten artists. don't stop.

Went to see him at i think was his last performance met him afterwards i was only a few weeks later i was driving to one of my own gigs and it came on the radio that he had passed away.RIP Rory.

Seen Rory live in 82 and again in 91. Best guitarist I've ever seen live. If you want to see a great live performance by Rory then check out Shadow Play live from Montreax 74. It really shows a different side to Rory than this one.

He has a lot of Jimi Hendrix in his playing style. Even Jimi said that to Rory when they met before Jimi's death.

Rory was never interested in pop or rock status. He just loved music, the rest was BS. Died too young.

The Rolling Stones would have never got Rory to join...Denim, check shirt...No glam or ego with Rory he did'nt fit their style..RG...rip
