I like the films about the reconstruction. English subtitles would be nice and would help to understand things better. Another thing that may be helpful is seeing the equipment in operation. The rudder rebuild showed its operation well enough to get a good idea how and what was going on. The capstan rebuild I could understand although showing it in operation would have also helped to understand its operation. The last piece of equipment looked like it could be some sort of halyard winch(?) Not sure about what it is used for. But, in all cases you have rebuilt them to a high standard of craftsmanship. Very well done.

Hi B. W. NB: All films are in Danish because we speak Danish and the funds as well as the Ministry of Education want the films in Danish. But maybe English subtitles can come in the future! @@maritimefilm Thank you for the video of the capstan at work (although seeing it in action, I think that anchor winch is a better term). I know that you are Danish and so having your video in Danish is to be expected. I think what I want to convey the most is that those in the world who restore the wooden boats of their country are doing history a favor and I thank all who do this. I like your boat very much, although if there is anything I like most is the stern of the Danish fishing vessels. Elliptical fantail sterns to my eye are a thing of beauty. Those made around Frederikshavn are a good example of the type. Best to you and all in Denmark.
