Root rot in apple trees ( practical demonstration)
It is a fungal disease can be effictively treated by drenching during spring months with a chemical management like (carbandazim + mancozeb ) @ 5g / liter of water & repeating at 12- 14 days interval atleast 3-4 times

May be the plants have collar rot ...which looks similar to root rot

Where to dig holes? 30 cms from stem or just below canopy? And how much solution to 25 year old tree?

Its 30 cm from the steam and make 30 cm deep holes also ...u can apply 30 to 50 liters of water for 15 yr old plants

How do we differentiate between Collar & Root Rot. Have got some plants infected and unfortunately not able to find out exactly whether root or collar rot.

Collar rot just occurs at collar portion of tree and root rot occurs on roots of trees mostly adventious roots disappear
