For anyone having problems with the butterfly glitch where it constantly flies away: -Hit escape and go to main menu while you're looking at the window. -Select continue -You'll be back at the empty window, wait a second or two and the butterfly will land -Make sure the jar is empty or you won't be able to catch it (if you had tabasco sauce in it like I did, you can empty it into the glass, even if you already did it once before) Hope this helps.

It's the weight. (+) is as heavy as (1) so it's 1 (4) is as heavy as (▶) and (1) combined -- 4 = 3+1, and so on. :)

+Chloe Elkins I'm guessing "the basement" is actually the underwater tunnel by which Detective Vandemeer arrives at the hotel, at the end of the game.

in the victims' rooms there are the symbols from the control panel with the key holes. to unlock the basement you must perfectly complete each dish to get their room keys and match the key number to the symbol.
