Hi guys. While I’m glad to see you guys back, I’m feeling some kind of way,lol. My hubs and I are also an IR couple and the first time he showed me your videos (love the silence by the way❤) he was like, “see, there’s a black woman who isn’t afraid to camp” 😂😂. I’ve done the camping thing, but a bad experience with a black bear (Adirondacks) has me second guessing sleeping outdoors. Now ya’ll are back and he’s giving me that side eye again! Anyway, welcome back, you two! Keep making beautiful videos and please ignore the haters…they are perfect for those of us who can appreciate the sounds of nature and a quiet existence. ❤

Ya we were hoping to have a bunch of videos all summer but one thing after another kept messing up our trips or our ability to record the trip. It will be a couple of weeks again but after that we’re expecting to have a lot of videos to post

Say, what do you folks use for lavatory when you are dispersed camping? (I don't expect to see that aspect included in any videos) 😅

whats your set up in the back? bed rack and cover. im trying to get my f150 set up but having a hard time finding a rack that can be used with a tonneau

The rack is xtrusion overland, their version that works with the softtopper and the tonneau cover is the BAKflip. I had to cut some things with a grinder though and I barely made it fit, it was like threading a needle. There are other tonneau covers that fit with them much more easily.

How was bed on top of the truck?

It's really comfy compared to any other camping bed we've tried. But we replaced the mattresses with their inflatable ones for more loft, 7" air vs 4" foam that it came with. We've slept in it probably 45 or 50 times this year.

I just read this again, if you were wondering how we mounted it - we got a truck bed rack which is an aluminum frame and then we mounted the roof top tent on top of that. It's really cool.

It's just a pickup truck not much of a overland vehicle so far a mommy's van could have gone there. Come on man get a real off road vehicle
