Hilarious and you can tell he just jotted that shit down and put it out there. What a great mind on that guy!

Man it’s hard enough coming up with cogent arguments on the spot but to make them funny too? Goes to show how well of a writer you have to be to make it as a standup comedian

Not that I really care, because I know it's a fun roast, and all, but he should have kept going...Gen Xers also founded Google, Amazon, Ebay, Wikipedia, KZread, Twitter, Paypal, LinkedIn, Tesla, Space X, Pandora, Uber, 1/2 of Spotify, etc. Also, if he thinks Subway sandwiches are bad, he should have seen what most Gen Xers were raised on. @@POPNDOUGH Clearly Gen X cares about what others think of them, always bitching about being the overlooked gen (always randomly popping out "hi, yeah it's me, I'm still here" fashion), they are also more passive agressive about it which I don't respect, they'll deny while their actions show otherwise. I can empathize their childhood neglect (Gen Y arguably got worse parenting combo: neglect + narc. control) but I don't respect their spineless passive aggressiveness about it (grow some balls and own it) while shitting on other gens to make themselves feel better/superior. As for DYI ethics that's more questionable, it's so vague you could argue boomers they despise had this DYI attitude as well. Also not true in my experience of Gen X-ers, not much DYI ethics when they are always tartly complaining about their circumstances from a powerless position, always resentful (even entitled at times), always whining about why the higher ups don't retire or die off, while they do as they are told impatiently waiting in line for that promotion. Pretty passive if you ask me, and passive aggressive. Not much DYI maverick streak imo. A lot of them are pretty dead beat in many ways/areas of their lives (relying on recreational substance/drug use, barely there/lifeless in their jobs...even poorly doing their jobs,, etc.)...just passive with a chip on their shoulders. Let's be honest most of the individuals from that list of entrepreneurs would've been looked down on and been bullied by most of their Gen X-ers peers before their successes, which is what they'd used to do. Just ask Cobain or Musk. They stand out precisely because they differ in traits from most of their peers and were unique, carving their path away from their generation's herd/passive/deadbeat mentality.

Every generation has bad, and good people, bad, and good traits. I'm sorry you had a bad experience with someone who might be a Gen Xer. Along with being the most entrepreneurial, and coolest Gen, we also hate drama, which is why we LOVE being forgotten, so, in true Gen X fashion, I'm out of this conversation. I've wasted enough time responding already. I didn't think correcting objectively false info was that controversial. To be honest, I can't even remember how I ended up watching this video, or what's in it. I hope you find happiness. Enjoy Gen X's gift to the world, KZread. I'm Gen Y and it's quite the opposite, in fact I feel protective of Gen Z, esp from the abuse they get from older gens (disgraceful)...and as far as I know same with most Gen Y ppl I know. I try to pass on info to Gen Z-ers so they don't have to repeat/live through our mistakes/misery from all the lies, misinfo., and brainwashing from the Boomers (i.e. don't get massive loans that shackles you to indefinite debt slavery for that useless degree from indoctrination centers/universities infiltrated by demented boomer postmodernists and socialists of the 60s/70s, and corrupt regressive political agendas just because the adults/parents/school counselor pressured you to, don't just trust anything/one verify verify verify think critically for yourself, what you see is not what you get, propaganda media manipulation of masses, don't accept abuse from anyone esp. narcissistic abuse & enmeshment from family, etc.etc.) . The main thing I disagree the most with Gen Z is the whole ridiculous uber-PC fascist identity politics thought police cancel sht nonsense I see nowadays (but then again, I'm not entirely sure if most Gen Z think this way, I just notice there's more & more of this kind of retarded sht happening now with younger ppl than my generation), but then again who taught the Gen Z-ers this retarded fascist propganda garbage in the first place?
