I watched the entire season so you don't have to, and it was great. Ronnie was the standout, going against the grain of typical reality TV by being completely himself. In one memorable scene, Caroline's friend asked if the two had hooked up, and Ronnie's response was priceless: 'Oh boy, I know who you are now.' LMFAO!

I know that alternative subcultures were seen as outrageous in the past but now are even more demonized by people today ESPECIALLY in regards to the past. The rebellious, crazy, punk rock attitude expressing the rebellion to societal expectations & a culture embracing our own quirks while self expression creatively in art, music & aesthetics as a message that resonated throughout the world shattering undeserving rules that prevented or even prohibited jobs or entry to anyone who presented anything outside images in a typical JcPenney catalog or that had interests beyond the top 40 hits, prime time sitcoms or that included anything made for kids was deemed childish & told to just act like an adult. A culture that has been shared across all alternative cultures. The music was that outlet for releasing tension when the over the top lyrics often spoke of the things we were told we couldn’t say & the bands were the embodiment of that. In truth harmless. We had our own code of conduct that isn’t understood today by those never once part of the scene and those too young or not even born yet targeting and demonizing the scene, taking lyrics & jokes as literal, as well as claiming guilty by association which is dumb in scene where everyone is connected to everyone else in one way or another.)
