I was introduced to Ronnie at the Rainbow by my girlfriend who was a waitress there at the time, 1984. The nicest down to earth guy. Bless you Ronnie.

Dio died last year, May 16th, the same day of my 25th birthday. That day when I read the news on the internet, my day became everything but mine... I didn't really care about my age anymore. Very sad day for me. Thanks for sharing this video. \m/

I linger in this Hall of Yesterdays, painted frescoes of my memory of him etched upon walls of lapis and orichalcum. The bas relief perfection giving life to the harmony of stone and dream. The whisper of his timeless voice wraps gilded fingers 'round columns soaring skyward, it's musical piping a langourous chant as ancient as the sighs of lovers parted and fresh as the tears of glaciers shed from the towering peaks of Olympus.

i took my son to see heavan and hell in brighton uk last year,the day i heard about his death i cried.but we got to see him live running about like a 6 week old rabbit!RIP ronnie,you are and still will be a fucking god man!

What more needs to be said? A wonderful tribute. May his soul rest easy, may his music live forever. I was never lucky enough to meet him, but feel like ive lost a friend. That in itself is a testament his magic. I will play this tribute often.

Hey. Im pretty sure Dio is watching us, right now. And, three years after he went, he's seeing that his music still live, and that he was right by saying "I am metal, and I'll never die". And he was more than only heavy metal singer, as old fans know. It is so sad that the big voice has silent now... Fortunately, we have all his great albums and DVD's and there he is alive and well, always!

@2ndWord Don't be too sad. At least you can see his great live dvd's, like 'Evil or Divine - Live in New York City' (2005). He is very lively on the stage, and he will be always alive and well on his albums and videos. In a sense, Dio is not really dead. Even though we can not touch him, his music can touch our hearts... That is magic!

@dasgluk91 Thank you for your good comment. Yeah, you are right: this is one of the greatest songs of all time, also the most sensitive song of Dio (band). Dio era Rainbow band has also some wonderful ballads, like 'Rainbow Eyes'.
