I’m so ecstatic that I was chosen in the draw. These are so fire in hand. I also went with the rope laces. Cuz that’s what I’ve learn to know about RFxASICS.

I was an Asics collector first and the GLIII is in my top 5 sneaker silhouettes of all time. In February 2019 I called out RF in a post showing the old GLIII shape in diff pairs and pleaded for him to work with Asics to bring the shape back. I was on the Asics forum trying to work with others and many people reached out to Asics. A bunch of enthusiasts ended up signing a petition including myself to bring back this iteration, the best and true OG shape. I say that to say this isn’t JUST Ronnie bringing it back, while it’s branded as that it took a ton of back scene effort to make this happen. Funny in February 2023, few years after my post he released this pair. Salty I didn’t get a pair but hope to see other shops get this remastered version like Concepts, Hanon, JJJound, etc. or Asics just goes with this silhouette going forward. You nailed it when you said true Asics enthusiasts are excited about this.

Got lucky with the Kith raffle on these! Super nice quality and luckily the QC on mine was pretty good. Agreed that going up half a size would be ideal for someone with wide feet.

I could never close the two tongues on my GLIII's either haha. Asian wide feet gang. appreciate the review. I passed on it, but appreciate RF remastering the shoe. Not the colorway for me though. I just need those Kois to retro!

Passed altogether, the KITH filter in full effect on these as per and that price point just isn't worth it for me.

I too am canadain and paid as much as you. im gonna have to ship the super yellow to a friend in the states if i get the chance. with that being said after seing your on foot view they look really good. love the vids man.

Got an L on both the raffle and online release, but managed to cop one in-store at the new Kith location! Really love the orange that contrasts with the dark beige & cream colors! Just curious to ask you Sean, but for these shoes, I got a size 12, but noticed that while the overall fit is nicely snug, I do see a moderate gap across the split tongue, since i have some narrow feet. Do you if this sizing is probably too small?

Yeah I had a similar problem so I suspect going up a half size may help with that

Gel lite 3 is a nice shie great collabs only thing I hate is the snake tongue so I skip the shoe all together. The GT 2 I like

I’m really stuck wether I should do that. The tongues on my pair do not close all the way but length is perfect. Idk if going through the process of selling and buying a new pair is worth it. I would end up losing 90-100$ due to taxes/ shipping and resell price on the shoe size I have.

Very underwhelming in hand. Sold them immediately. Nice shoe but nothing premium at all to warrant a $200 price tag.
