Tbh he didn't really carry the Brazilian squad in 2002. He deffo had skills but the creator in the team was Ronaldinho for one, Rivaldo for another. He mostly went forward to score. And sometimes play as an anchor.

A beautiful pass can be created but it takes a lethal Finisher to pull it. If we put any Average or even above average and give him beautiful pass his touch and his ball controlling should be extra ordinary to pull it off. R9 Was Lethal finisher and had great ball controlling. Look at mbappe and Messi. Mbappe missed some very easy chance created by messi either cuz of touch or Ball controlling.
