This is why I don't like when Messi and CR7 fans bash each other. I never liked CR7 but always admired him as an athlete and I have always been a Messi fan. Two gentleman who know how to respect their greatest rival. I hear a lot about football legends. But i grew up in the heyday of messi and ronaldo. I grew up watching them playing football, then they made history. They will forever have a special place in my heart. (Sorry for my bad grammar 🙏🏼)

What we can tell is that Messi had the luck to be in Barca and know very well his teammates and his game became more relevant in games. If both had been gone through same training maybe there wasn’t a better Ronaldo than Messi or the other way around. Messi must be the goat of football talent. Ronaldo is the goat of hardwork and focus can do to a super talended player. Bott will always play great solo. But football is a team game with 11 players. There is no way to show results without the team members help. They are just the best of the best.

Only true fans of football respect and appreciate BOTH. In fact, I refuse to believe that anyone typing Penaldo or Pessi seriously is anything but a 12-year-old who doesn't know anything. Anyway, we shouldn't take the past 2 decades for granted. We all witnessed magic in the greatest rivalry of all-time. Now, as the careers of both legends are in their twilight years, we'll have to anticipate new players who will give us the same joy (and anger) they delivered.
