Ronaldinho is like the football father of Lionel Messi. Messi's first goal came from Ronaldinho's pass, Ronaldinho made messi feel welcome and not shy when he was a kid at barca. Ronaldinho was the best back then so he basically took care of lionel messi in barcelona and then gave him the crown.

@@Dippa1991 he was but unfortunately we never saw how much of a beast he could be, his injuries came very early in his career. After his first major injury he was not the same as pre injury, still a beast but we lost the chance to see the most monstruous player ever.

I’m 60 years old and in all my years I have never seen a better player in full flow with all the tricks to entertain us football fans than Ronaldinho. Whoever chose THAT music to illustrate his skills is a genius. I sit here with tears 😢running down my cheeks with the joy he gives me and I never do that with any other footballer. So glad to have been blessed to witness Ronaldinho in this lifetime and I will always watch him in KZread until the day I leave this wonderful earth. 😇🙏🏾

Thing is that Ronaldinho played to enjoy the sport, not for the hunger of winning everything (even tho he did), he didnt take this a job, he just enjoyed playing

there's no messi without R10... you must understand that Messi is good because he analyze all his surrounding and can calculate perfectly his trajectory to goal,so that why he's walking a lot during a game. but R10 was constantly running and don't take time to analyze because he has the instinct, he feel the game and just follow the flow...

Sigo creyendo que la unica razón por la cual Messi y Cr7 como profesionales y carrera fueron mejor que ronaldhino, es justamente porque ello le tomo años conseguir tanto, ambos siempre se quedaron con ganas de ganarlo todo por eso siempre tenian que rendir al maximo hasta conseguirlo. The way messi follows the game and looks for openings and rushes is quite similar to ronaldinho but its not quite like the original. I loved watching ronaldinho play as a kid,when I grew up and he retired I was more a fan of ronaldo than messi for the hard work he puts in. It would be awesome to see once again someone at ronaldinho level or above.

Sadly i could never watch this magical ronaldinho in his prime, but now when i compare these highlights with modern day greats, Ronaldinho is a class apart. He just quit early, or rather he achieved everything very quickly, by his mid 20s he got every single thing the world had to offer... money, world cup, ucl, ballon d'or, fear amongst players. But ofcourse longevity is a big thing, and he messed up. Now the debate is among messi and ronaldo... according to me messi, but had ronaldinho continued his work ethic, he could have reached heights no one ever imagined
