The Majority of Foundational Black Americans in the state of California, and in particularly South Central LA, Compton, Watts etc. Come from five main states. Louisiana Texas Oklahoma Arkansas Mississippi The city that I've seen represented the most out of those 5 states is Shreveport.

Facts because I have close to 200 family members in LA county . I'm from Dallas (TX). My mom and dad stayed in LA and Compton in the late 60's and end up moving back to Texas.

I would say that 80 percent of Black Angelenos have roots in Texas and Louisiana. The other 20 percent in those other states you mentioned.

Me and his brother lil Ron Ron owned the dispensary on Dean ,back in 2016/18 I met big Ron Ron a few days after he got out , lil Ron used to alway talk about him his big brother getting out and I was low key excited to meet him because the respect lil Ron Ron had and him showing the amount of love and respect for his big bro validated everything about him 🫡once again welcome home big bro

My mom hung out with his dad and Raymond back in the day. There was a liquor store on the corner and the neighbor used to drive school buses.

Seems like Cali got Texas and Louisiana ties. Chicago got Mississippi and Alabama ties and New York City got Georgia, North Carolina and Florida ties.

@@Gh-jo1sr yea Mexicans came from the valley black and whites came from the south. east Texas Louisiana etc. some stopped in Houston some went to Los Angeles the country started on the east coast so everyone but us Mexicans came from east
