I think he means he was never MCU/X men universe.....the blade movies were also among the ones S.L. never made a cameo in.

@@ricktoledo8424 I said Marvel movie, not marvel studios. Blade is a marvel character so blade 2 is therefore a marvel movie. That's like saying spiderman or x men weren't marvel movies. Yes they were, just marvel movies made by Sony and fox

@@CaptDeadpool32 but Ron Perlman himself was talking about "MARVEL STUDIO'S" when he said working for "MARVEL" or a "MARVEL PROJECT".... At the time Blade 2 came out there wasn't a "MARVEL STUDIO'S" synonymous with "MARVEL COMICS" & "MARVEL FILMS" like there is today.... When you think of "Working for MARVEL" what do you think of??? IRON-MAN, HULK, THOR, CAPTAIN AMERICA, and just recently SPIDERMAN.... There was no MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE synonymous with Marvel Superhero films based on Marvel Comic book charactes.... There was only individual separate sovereign movie studios that made individual superhero movies.... Back then it was New Line Cinema... That's it... Stan Lee never even made a cameo in any of the Blade Films because technically he said interviews that he only co-created the BLADE character... Marv Wolfman was the actual creator of Blade so the studio could not technically give Stan Lee too much Credit for it.... Do your research buddy

Yeah its marvel but its not really in the lager MCU as it is today, not the massive universe that was built up over 10 years type of marvel, do you get what im saying?

The man worked in so many badass movies he forgot he worked for Marvel at one point.

Theo Freier yes, but blade was before the big boom in comic book movies. It was more of a fun fact it was based on a comic at the time vs common knowledge

Theo Freier I’m thinking what he meant was that at the time Blade was produced by New Lime Cinema and not by today’s Marvel Studios thus a much more limited environment when compared to the monolithic MCU.

You should have called him mister Perlman and make an appointment to talk with him for 2 hours on things, he would liked it of course.

If marvel movies were made in 1990s, he would play the Thing or Thanos.
