Love the green glass! 52" is a great size, I wouldn't expect stacking or pinching. Got a Kodiak Magnum and it's flawless.

Nice and smooth up to 29“. Using this bow by myself with my 30“ drawlength. No problem at all! Draw weight increase is a bit over 3 lbs per inch between 29 and 30“. But no finger pinch at all.

I ordered this bow 52" at 60# last week and am stoked to shoot it when it gets in. Looks amazing from the pictures and videos.

I'm one of the blessed who had shoot this bow. It's unbelievable quick, smooth and accurate! It takes your shape and makes one with you immediately. The dream bow!

I have been shooting stick bows since 1967 as a kid. loved shooting recurves and especially longbows. After reading Fred Asbells book years ago about instintive shooting and altering the bow to fit you, I made my recurves perform so much better for me. There were several men that helped to make archery into what it is today. Your bow appears to be an awesome bow for a treestand as well as stalking. Smooth is everything as is a light balanced bow that feels good to shoot.

Thanks for your comment The hybrid longbows performing like recurves. Shoot recurves and longbows during the last 40 years but got thrilled about this little shooters. Shrews are differently as every other bow I shoot. Designed very well and extremely maneuverable. In my opinion they are for stalking and treestand hunting perfectly.

I saw him on an old episode of Discovering on Deer Camps. Glad to see more of Ron.

Ron Laclair is a well known MI hunter. Very excellent shot with the true north american flatbow as well. Quite the story teller and modern day Mountain Man as well. True gem in the world of old school bowhunting.

I‘m using this bow with my 30“ draw. No problem for this 52“ Classic Hunter II. The weight of the bow is increasing 3,4 lbs between 29 and 30“. Not really a stacking but a bit uncomfortable. Will publish the draw/weight graph soon.

Sorry for this late answer but I don`t recognized this comment. At the Custom Shrew section weights from 20 up to 150 lbs are possible.

That's what i looking looking for. Im 27 inch draw. I was also looking at the slick stick or quick stick. We're can you get this 52 shrew bow near hawaii

I like short bows. All I’ve ever owned is the same #45lb Bear Kodiak Magnum 52” recurve. And I’m 6’2” with a 30.5” draw, sometimes 31” at certain angles. Maybe a longer bow would be better for some things, but I can shoot this one very well and it generates more than enough momentum with my Easton 2317’s and a 175 grain brodhead. Easy to draw, very maneuverable, and exceptional accuracy for instinctive shooting. Stare at target, draw/anchor/release.

Hello Ryan, I do love short bows too. For your 30,5-31" sraw a 54" Shrew Classic Hunter will do a great job. 52" Shrew of course can handle your draw length without any problem but will stack at your full draw. For this draw I am recommending the 54” Classic Hunter. Of course it’s no problem for the 52” bow too. I hunted last year successfully Whitetails in Michigan with a 52” Shrew. From 29” / 30” still adding less than 3 lbs/inch! But 54” Classic Hunter is just a bit smoother. But the 52”” is a hard hitting fascination bow.

I have oportunity to try shrew bow. As a bowyer I am so suprise that such light bow hase no hand shock at all. It is a very efficient bow. It hits hard with great speed heavy hunting arrows. One thing is not fits me and it is a grip. But that is something what you can adjust or maby ask Henry to make it difrently. Anuway it is great bow.

I am interested in buying one of these Siberian Tiger Classic Hunter II's in 52" with 45# draw RH. Before dropping $800 plus I would like to shoot one to see if I like the way it handles and shoots, but none here in Virginia that I am aware of. It’s history’s best bow design. It’s nothing new. Goes back to Egypt and Assyria.
