I live in Tampa, I got out of the marine corps in 2019 right before the pandemic hit but luckily because of his policies I was able to still work the entire pandemic and allowed me to stay on my feet after just starting an entirely new life. Whats happening in this country infuriates me... especially giving years of my life to help do my part to prevent the country being lost, but now its our own government trying to take it from us.

Look at what one with a brain can accomplish! I would like for him to be President as well, but I feel like Floridians deserve him, and he himself deserves 4 more years to see how how much he can accomplish through conservative policies. To set an example of how a government should treat its citizens. To show the ACTUAL purpose of a government in America, to preserve and facilitate American’s rights, and to provide security. That’s it. He needs to stay in Florida so people on the left in this country can see that conservatism isn’t what they think it is. He needs more time to show that freedom works, and to show the stark contrast of liberal run states, so they realize the errors of their own ideology.

It's sad to see so many who don't understand the connection with HIS blood, no different then that night the Lord sent the destroyer to smite the first born in the land of Egypt - it mattered not what deeds they had done good or bad, other then to put that blood on their door, so the destroyer would pass over them. I think he should stay in Florida. Not that he isn't well suited for a bigger job, but I think if more governors could do what DeSantis did, America would be in a much better place. I remember what kind of hell President Trump was put through. I think State level change is more realistic since governors seem to have more autonomy in a way. For example, the civics education bill was beautiful. DeSantis should keep protecting Florida, while other states look for their own DeSantis.

This man, our future president, is a HERO -- and a man of conviction and integrity. I've gone back to watch his sessions in Congress and Ron DeSantis was as impressive as a freshman in Congress as he is in his first term as governor. The guy is brilliant. And spot on about pretty much everything.

I thought I'd let you know that millions of other Americans live here too. His speech is just Rhetoric. Another name would be propaganda. Biden does it too. Rights aren't given to us by a person in Florida or Washington DC. The constitution was inspired by God and written by our founding fathers. Florida has a surplus in their budget and do not rely on the federal government to survive. I absolutely applaud you for standing up, time and again, to do what is best and right for your constituents in Florida. I hope they realise how lucky they are, to have you, who has their backs. I loved Florida when I visited there, almost packed up to move there, but I also loved Australia, I just wish we had someone, like you, looking out for us.
I grew up in San Francisco and NYC. Naturally all my friends are liberals and I love them all. We saw the statistics that showed there were over 60 millions more people every year while there was a health disaster. What that told us was that CDC as well as WHO were damaged beyond repair. Our country is blessed to have a young man like DeSantis.
I’m 50 years old and I’ve never been as grateful for and supportive of my governor as these past few years. I lived in Michigan for 40 years. Ron DeSantis, thank you for your service and strong leadership.

There is no point in force vaccinations, shutting economies down or keeping kids home from school. Doesn’t that sound pragmatic to you? And if someone does get sick we have vaccines. His choices were correct. Unbiased. I don’t care about the right or left. Whoever is pragmatic and reasons with logic for America will win my vote, which is what Florida’s governor had done.

Yeah there so lucky they have one of the highest cost of living, insane real estate prices, more tolls than any other state, high crime, non english speaking people everywhere, humidity you can cut with a knife, high insurance, bugs everywhere and some of the most un educated people in the US.

You may have no state tax, but all your stupid tolls add up if you figure out what you pay on tolls its probably more than I pay in state tax. All they do is raise them whenever they feel like it. I taught school there and its one of the worst education systems I have ever encountered. Try buying a house there and they are not built very well because your wonderful state is a right to work state. Insurance in fl is off the chain and the people there if there not speaking spanish are very rude. Thats why I got out and im not a fan of humidity or bugs. Your governer is a Trump puppet a man who worships Putin and the killing of innocent people.
