Oh dear... this is their home ...their foundation,I imagine they are in no hurry to turn it into a B&B..I'm sure you can find many places that offer this kind of experience. First suggestion would be along the Appalachian trail. I'm sure there are plenty of rustic cabins for rent( or even free like a Bothy in Scotland). I hope you find one and enjoy your experience. 🙂

My mom lived in St Gen in her early 20s. When she and my dad started dating he commuted from St Louis. She’s from Festus and he’s from St Louis. Many congratulations and best wishes for a happy life together. Sounds like a fantastic honeymoon trip. I’ve visited all those places. Colonial Williamsburg is a fantastic experience! The east coast is also GREAT for antiques.

I do hope that the new film set is still small, simple and humble. Part of what I love about your channel is the fantasy that your tiny cabin is where you actually live and that the role you’re playing is one of a middle class life. Nothing too fancy or over the top. I’m so happy for you both and wish you the best. Without knowing either one of you I can honestly say that I believe you both are truly meant for each other. It’s a beautiful thing when the universe alines allowing the right two people to meet. God bless you both and keep you safe. Was laughing my head of when you spoke about the awkwardness of acting together when you first met. My husband and I were members of a very strict religious belief and still are but when we first met in church we weren't close as to be honest I was rather younger than the rest of the youth group by some years we spoke but only in church Now we were taught to be **in the world but not of the world so *worldly* entertainment was frowned on** But I actually love traditional Scottish music and folk songs and unknown to the corps leadership myself and an older male actually took part along with two from another corps in the local folk scene and over 18months became very much sought after by then we also covered modern day hits of the time. We were asked to do an event in Edinburgh and after some hesitation( and prayers) agreed Imagine our surprise when we 're into another person from our corps there and he was the cousin of the male we were shocked. We kept arriving at same event's and while the corps still didn't know about the groups we did start dating a first much eye raising as I was only 15 and he 19.long story short due to a family member receiving a terminal diagnosis we decided that we would not want to be married without having them present and so brought the wedding forward by 3years.I was 16 and he still 19 on our wedding day. Two weeks later after honeymoon in South of France we were home and both our groups were to appear at the same venue Now for you younger readers it was 1969 and a group called Garry p ucket and the union gap were one of the top groups and my husband both physically looked like the lead singer and sounded very much like him. We did our separate sets at the event and thought we were done but the final act was a no show and organisers were panicking. They didn't want it to be obvious there had been a no show and final act had been billed as a surprise but we'll known combo. Husband and his cousin put their heads together and said that they would combine those in both groups who felt confident playing together cold there was no problems with cousin husband and I singing together as we were well used to in church. We did two songs then husband took the lead singer and his cousin announced he would sing a union gap hit young girl it went down well however at that point I needed to replace a guitar string so stepping back out of sight and sound too do so to fill in time till I got back husband and cousin had a conversation on stage during which cousin asked if they would like a second union gap song the screaming answered that question I got back in place and was told the next song which was this girl is a woman now a recent hit for union gap we finished and cousin telling the next s songa waslthe last f the night before asking had enjoyed last song yells said yes he beginning told them he was dedicatingt to husband and I and informed them about our marriage someone called out what age is she and he replied let the last song answer indicating for husband to take the lead rather than as had been planned him Song When you were sweet 16. The place erupted with good wishes. We continued singing together for several years until we appeared on a televised music show we never thought any of the older corps members would watch the younger were all our friends and knew anyway We got away with 10 weekly appearances before someone from another corps recognised us and told the officers in charge. By then we had made several records that had been well received too. The 11th week and one week before the contract with the television show ended we were called in for a meeting with the officers who gave us the ultimatum it was either worldly music we made or secular.We announced the 11th week that the following week would not only be our final performance on the show but our final performance as a group The production team was appalled as they were planning on having us become a weekly feature and so after we explained why they decided to use it in show. So we did what we thought was our final set and as arranged went to change while lead explained why this was our final performance When we came out dressed in uniform with permission the studio audience went silent then burst out in applause we each spoke a few words o tthanks for the past 5 years and explained that while we would have loved to continue our faith meant more to us than success. Only the television show wasn't for giving up o us and approached our international leadership who granted permission as it was viewed as employment provided we respected our regulations of faith while doing so. We sung together for several more years before life in faith took over. But I never forget that first time singing in front of a crowd with my then boyfriend of two weeks who was as stunned as I when we met backstage. We have been married for 54years this Valentine's Day and still sing together by ourselves and with his cousin and the original drummer who was also a friend and corps memer. Make sure to make and keep apart copies off your work together we are so glad I did way back then. our grandchildren are stunned when they discovered just how popular and how many recordings we had made and how successful they were. Colonial Williamsburg is where I first fell in love with early American history, back when I was 16 years of age. 14 yrs later, I still love it. Which is how I came across your channel almost a year ago. Your wedding sounds amazing. I wanted an 18th century wedding for mine but it was not doable unfortunately. I must have always had it but it was never really an issue until 2020 when I had my first anxiety attack. Your cooking channel was so relaxing and quiet and had such soothing fireplace sounds that most nights for a long time it helped me fall asleep at night. I binged everything on your channel at the time and couldn't wait for more. I'm also a big Jane Austen fan and the period cooking kind of reminds me of that too. On your honeymoon, be sure to stop by Fredericksburg, it's half way between Washington DC and Richmond on I95. George Washington grew up there and you can see his mother's and sister's homes. I worked at the Rising Sun Tavern (museum) that was once owned as a private home to George's brother, Charles. Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I'm sure it will be absolutely beautiful!

Eee! So excited!! You guys should go down to Fredericksburg where I live! It’s only about an hour south of DC and very historical! George Washington’s childhood home at Ferry Farm is in Fredericksburg and the city is colonial! A lot of Civil War history too like the Battle of Fredericksburg and other historical sites! It’s been a great city to grow up in ☺️ Praying for you two as the days come closer to your forever!!! 💗 It’s been such a blessing the past 3 years to see your love grow 💗
