Amazing how music can influence your emotions. Romi's gives me joy, hope, euphoria, nostalgia, melancholy... She's amazing!

Until I read this comment, I hadn't noticed her set is basically just dropping one nostalgic pop hook after the other. it works so well!

Normally I go for hard techno BUT THIS HAS BROUGHT ME so much joy. I love Romy. She is very special. I’m sure I’m going to listen this on on repeat.

she played some bangers but the DJ'ing wasn't all that. reminded me of someone being in charge of the music at a house party or something and being really good at it. the set itself lacked flow and I guess top level DJ'ing.

@@mradhurley my only question to your comment is: did you happen to dance to it? I mean, did the dj'ing messed up your killer moves? I'm genuinely asking since I'm by no means a fan of her, but couldn't help to throw myself to the dancefloor (aka my living room) while vibin' to the tiny bits of magic she's playing. I was in awe just letting it flow thru me for the 80% of set. All in all, the last 15mins felt completely true to the esence of it. It just made sense. Chef's kiss.

Romy's so amazing! We were watching Fred Again last year in San Francisco at Portola Festival and we look to our right and its Romy in the crowd with us dancing huge smile on Romy face. we didnt want to bug her but she said hello and we all just danced ! MAGIC !

When Beachball track came on, Tears stream down my face. I took me back to simpler times, when a quarter of gas tank, a pioneer sound system and a burned CD with you homies, driving to a rave party was such a magical moment. There was not a lot of money, but our youth made up for it. I listened to that song a million times on a Paul Oakenfold mix back when i was 16 or 17. It so shocking that now on my 40s how music and trends come back. So good that this generation can appreciate good house music. Thanks to Romy for an hour long nostalgia trip.

This was awesome. No frills, no bull, no gimmicks just soul to soul great solid music!

This is how you connect with your audience. The energy is electric . The whole room is one with this amazing talent and her music. Bravo Romy. This is one of the best sets I’ve ever seen. 👏👏👏👏👏💜💜

A very different music sample but mixed just as well tho. Fred is more of a Warehouse project main act, Romy would pull 25 plus age group but Fred pulls people of all ages, usually a lot younger people, even tho I like him and I am 30 odd. Might get to Fred at Leeds festival, with a bit of luck.
