joshmsimmz yes it does football and nascar both were gladiator sports back in the day. Society used to like people who put their health and even lives on the line for a glory and money. Unfortunately today’s players and fans somehow want to make a gladiator sport safe… the NFL was right all along to cover it up because the game had an element that it is lost when it’s just a game…

@@mansamusa7927 I don't disagree but I do refrain from comparison unless the Haters press me. Romo would be considered a much better QB as he was, had he played for anyone else BUT Dallas. That 2016 season w rookie Zeke and a top flight OL? Damnnnnn. Thst was his Best, most legit shot to win a Super Bowl,. I don't think the Defense was good enough but the Offense was talented enough to get it done And compensate. Great balance of explosive and grind you down. Zeke was explosive then. 2014, great Demarco Murray yr( but led NFL in fumbles) that J Peppers strip fumble on him? took a TD run away from us..before the Dez robbery. Romo only had 2, 1 thousand yr rushers ( J Jones? Or M Barber? Had like 1,100 or something just over 1000. So, he always dealt with avg to below avg defenses..pts allowed, yes per game, sacks and pressure , and always near, at the bottom in creating turnovers. That made Every offensive possession important and magnified his picks. Never got help, extra possessions from the Defense. Never. And since they often gave up 7? More pressure to score, Every possession, every week.

It's a mindset, he never lost to Dallas, the defense did. Vick understands what most football fans understand and that's that the QB doesn't play defense. If I give you 4 TDs then you cant give up 5, he did his job as a QB the defense didn't do theres. I've never been a fan of QBs getting all the credit because so many other things have to go right including defense and special teams (which he doesn't play). True football fans understand this.

@@Marcuschanged : I think you missed my point. His pick six only counts for 7, what about the other 28? As a QB you can win games but you dont always have to be on the field to lose it. His job is to score point, the defense job is to stop the other team from scoring. He lead the offense to enough points to win the game, that's why I said it's a "mindset." How many overtime games or late 4th Qtr comebacks have been lost and the offense never touched the field? Kick returns, long bombs ect. This is why I said "I've never been a fan of the QB getting all the credit when so many other things have to go right."
