@@LLL65320- Not to change the subject, but I am surprised that Julian's defence has never argued that because the U.S. considers him an "enemy alien", he could not have come under the jurisdiction of U.S. civilian courts, only military ones. Canada for example established military tribunals to try American citizens who had joined in the 1837 rebellion against the crown because the existing courts had no jurisdiction.
