Let’s get one thing clear. This is a cool movie but R+J was never a “love” story. Juliet was JUST a girl who Romeo was SIMPING over, an above average beauty ( think today’s Instagram or Only Fans chick level). Romeo and Juliet is NOT a love story but a tragedy of what neglect and lack of guidance of teenagers from a family too busy hating the other could do. It is also the cautionary tale of how stupid young love really is. Short sighted, Disney esque. As you can see I’m cyclical and jaded as all heck. Of course, I’m a product of our times, I’ve been officially red pilled by society and the mating pool for us straight eligible modern men in the West today and was lucky enough to have had my eyes opened l but that means, trust how one can actually see and speak the truth. Be warned.

@@sofialurian1874 it's a bit confusing but basically Juliet was being forced to marry a man named Paris but she didn't want to so she faked her death so she wouldn't happen. Romeo came and thought she actually died because she took some potion or something pretending to be dead. Thinking Juliet was actually dead, Romeo killed himself. Juliet then woke up soon after and saw Romeo dead and soon proceeds to kill herself. Crazy plotline ik
