This is such a beautiful Romeo and Juliet - and it is so faithful to the play. The scene where Juliet imagines what the tomb will be like when she's about to take the sleeping poition - fantastic.

Hi Marco, this is a bad quality TV recording (the entire ballet was taking up to 2GB if I recall. I don't have it on my hard disk anymore. this piece was extracted from the original and compressed). Still you should be able to find the DVD on the market. Just google "Prokofiev-Bessmertnova-Mukhamedov-Sharkov-Zhuraitis".

Midnight blue (menace?) meets virginal white! Love the adolescent spriteliness at 4.40. Why exactly did Grigorovitch change (and in what detail) the choreography of Leonid Lavrovsky ?
