Hi Dana, thanks so much for your video what a great job! So I’m having fomo & at the long of this big comment are 3 questions😊 . My dad & 2nd mom finally planned a big euro trip Paris, Santorini, Athens, Rome etc for end of June. My sister was like let’s join them. I always wanted to go to Paris, London & all over Italy. My sister has been to Paris & can’t make that part so her, my niece & she wanted me to go to Athens 3/4 days then maybe 2 days in Rome. I said yes, but then when I looked into medical insurance I panicked, plus wasn’t sure about Athens & spending the money to not really see Rome but will hit the major stuff. Haven’t really updated my summer wear in awhile & I just let things/fear get in the way. I got past it all said yes, but then the medical insurance you have to pay out of pocket than get reimbursed scared me if god forbid serious health problem came up. I found Allianz who will pay direct to hospital up to $75,000. I was thinking god forbid I got kidney stones like I did in 2015 for the first time, or on my honeymoon I used hotel lotion & woke up as the beast lol and well I was just checking my boxes. I think I panicked wasn’t prepared mentally in a short time wrapping my head around 9-10hr trip, plus all the other stuff so I backed out before it was booked. 2-days later I said I panicked I’d like to go if it wasn’t booked yet & well it was. I found out that I can add my flight, but she said the rooms are small & they don’t have double beds. So long story short my question is 1). if I decided to go & make this work would you feel comfortable sleeping in a room yourself overseas? 2). Any suggestions on health insurance? 3). I also just found out my work is most likely laying off 20% which the past 12 years I’ve been dealing with fear of losing my job, I never traveled with my family & most likely the only opportunity as my dad is older however leaving the husbands behind & not seeing more of Italy between cost vs might not have a job vs only chance with the family,… would you go anyway yolo?

Dana absolutely loved this 😍 Your Mom such a good sport being part of the filming, loved her "Mom Tips" too 😉 Rome looked super busy, imagine at the height of the season 😯 Such a joy to see all the places I visited many years ago, personally I think a guided tour a must, although more expensive you get so much more out of it 🤓 Tuscany looked as beautiful as ever, but was sad for you that it rained, at least you got to sample more wine 🍷As ever thank you for sharing all your high lights & of course all the yummy food 😋 I now look forward to the Amalfi coast 🥰 Clare xx

It is our symbol because it is a tree that curiously has the shape of Italy: the roots are the south, the trunk is the center and the foliage is the north of the "Belpaese". Tourists are always welcome in Italy, thank you for your visit.

I have been to Italy many times, but I really enjoyed this video. You are such good travelling companions.

Also, not only comfortable because of the stones, steps and different levels - you need to also watch where you are stepping :). Your mom is a natural. Great to see the two of you together (Al is missed too). I have had the great fortune to have been to all of those places you took your Mom (twice). I absolutely adore Italy so this is nice for me to follow the two of you through some lovely neighbourhoods and site seeing treasures. I have never been to the Villa Borghese even though it is something I would love to see. My plan for next time :). Grazie😊❤

Your mom is beautiful! You guys look like sisters. Reminds me of my mom and me. She was barely 5 feet tall while I’m 5´7” - definitely take after my dad. I’ve been waiting for this video! Brought back so many memories from our trip there last September 🩷 We stayed in Trastevere which was unbelievable and of course visited some of the same places.
