Not only in Europe. Also Capitol Hill and many other buildings in America are inspired by Roman architecture. The Hagia Sofia's couple in Istanbul was inspired by the Pantheon's couple. So many buildings around the world are copies of the ones in Rome.

A coso, se non fate qualcosa tra un po' sarà solo un cesso con due colonne di marmo, ci sono angoli, strade e quartieri che non si possono guardare, per non parlare del moderno, a Calcutta stanno costruendo meglio.

millenias are passing by and yet there is still no match to your magnificence GLORIOUS ROME anywhere around the world. It is no mistake why it is Rome that had biggest influence on the world, it was ment to be. Beauty of Rome is just breathtaking today as it was 3 millenias ago. Io sono di Milano a Roma ci sono stato una città bellissima fantastica,i problemi sono i trasporti i servizi lo smaltimento dei rifiuti,la mancanza di parti moderne e la gente che la popola ogni volta che dicevamo fossimo di Milano tutti ci assalivano come primitivi,dicendo che Milano non è un centro economico e cose così,ma ragazzi Milano è il centro economico italiano e la capitale mondiale della moda,la città con più possibilità di lavoro e più proiettata verso il futuro con parti moderne e antiche

Io sono inglese che vive a Roma, e onestamente ti dirò come vede la gente all'estero, questo fantomatico raffronto, insensato tra Roma e Milano. Roma è una capitale mondiale, che per motivi atavici dato il suo immenso patrimonio artistico storico monumentale, è stata sempre considerata una delle città più influenti del mondo, se non la più bella ed è inconfutabile. Milano è una realtà assai più piccola e provinciale, tralasciando che la capitale mondiale della moda è Parigi, in America come in Inghilterra, Russia o Giappone, Roma viene vista come una grande metropoli di livello mondiale, Milano come una cittadina molto industrializzata in più settori, ma nulla di più. Sono molto più internazionali Venezia e Firenze che Milano. Roma non ha bisogno di quartieri moderni, come Venezia e Firenze, ma solo di politici all'altezza che la sappiano valorizzare e si tenere molto più pulita. La grandezza di Roma è sempre riuscita ha supplire la pessima e corrotta gestione politica, risultando la terza città più visitata d'Europa e la 14 nel mondo. Milano seppur meglio gestita, pulita ed efficiente, sarà sempre una realtà minuscola rispetto a Roma. Anche la classifica delle città globali la posiziona al trentesimo posto, ben davanti il 39 posto del capoluogo lombardo, pur vantando per Roma un ingiusto Alpha -.Non discutiamo poi tra quale sia la città più visitata, Roma è la terza città più visitata d'Europa con 10 milioni di turisti, sono ridicole e inesatte quelle che collocano il capoluogo lombardo sopra Roma, neanche nella più ridicola barzelletta potrebbe essere vero, Milano merita di stare infinitamente sotto Roma, Venezia, Firenze, Torino e Napoli, certe classifiche sono comiche.

@@johnshepard2265 Condivido quasi tutto, tranne la chiusura. Porre Milano infinitamente sotto a Torino e Napoli è discutibile. Anche il capoluogo lombardo vanta un grande patrimonio storico-artistico, solamente che è più "nascosto", la sua bellezza non viene sparata in faccia (duomo a parte) come per esempio a Roma o a Venezia.

Io ho vissuto tanti anni a Roma e mi dispiace ma non c'é confronto con Milano, come non ce n'é con nessuna città al mondo. Roma é Roma. Sul fatto che non ci siano zone più moderne é vero ma anche perché é già tutta piena. Milano si, é sicuramente più efficiente nei trasporti

I find the seemingly epic music in the background totally out of line. The photos are beautiful, but the image of Rome that you convey ,along with the music, is, in my opinion, something that luckily exist only in the mind of occasional tourists.
