Rome Day Trip to Nemi, One of the Prettiest Towns in Castelli Romani Region.
If you have never heard of Nemi don't let that fool you. Nemi was a big surprise for me and I could not believe how beautiful the town is. It is only about 20 miles from the center of Rome but is not easy to get to there, but worth the effort. How is it possible that the small town of Nemi has the best deli I have ever seen! Nemi is a great place for a day trip from Rome. Located just south in the Castelli Romani area. The town is know for its strawberries but it should be know for the best deli ever! Seeing & eating at this deli was worth the trip alone. On the way out of town we had a nice thunderstorm. The music in the video is from a street performer I saw on the subway in Rome.

We visited Nemi two years ago and liked it so much. Especially the Deli was amazing and we had the porchetta sandwich. Next year we go again but then for at least six days 😊

No, just meat and bread. Most impressive was Nemi.

You made an interesting and true observation when you saw all the salami and meats. You said they are all real, while in America they would be just fake decoration. Yep. And how do you think they do that? Answer: $$$$$. That is just absolute normal everywhere in Italy btw.
